It looks pretty well constructed!  Great job!  I'm also getting into doing bags at the moment- anything that can be utilized!

75  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Discussion and Questions / Cornstarch Resin on: June 21, 2008 05:14:15 PM
I've found several sources for epoxy resin, but being the greenie I am, I'm trying to track down a manufacturer of cornstarch resin.  Does anyone know where to find some or have any experience with it?

I found out this exists at:  www.everybodygreen.com

Thanks!

Niki
76  COOKING / Dessert / Re: Easter Cake - First time using fondant! on: June 20, 2008 08:03:22 AM
Very cute!  Looks so nice to me.  I have never used fondant, but I'm impressed. Was it difficult?

It wasn't too hard.  The hardest part is keeping it from drying out when you're working with it!  And along the bottom putting each individual "button" was difficult.  I also learned that covering chocolate cake with white fondant was hard!

But I loved how it turned out!
77  COOKING / Dessert / Easter Cake - First time using fondant! on: June 19, 2008 01:46:30 PM
I'll keep this short and sweet! (I have updated this to include the picture instead of a link)  This is a cake that my mom and I did for Easter Dinner.  It was both of our first time using fondant.  I should include a picture of what happened when my son found the cake (included the peeling of a flower, exposing the chocolate cake underneath.)

Enjoy!
