1  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / The Swap Gallery / Re: FOC Second Chance Wishlist Rd 3 **Gallery** on: November 15, 2012 05:21:36 PM
She sent some lovely digital photos, some pages for my Book of Shadows with info on runes and astrology, some poly clay molds, and a beautiful Tree of Life painting with elemental colors in the background (which I have upside-down in the picture Sad)!

As promised. I also wanted to show a pic that showed the metallic in the paints Smiley

and just for fun, a WIP.

bananaleg and mandykaye i'm so thrilled you like your packages. I see some amazing work here and I have been out of swapping for so long that i was truly worried.

Thank you so much, Tina! I'm in love. And my nieces are going to be so happy next time they come over. Cheesy

@bananaleg- i used canvas because my sewing machine wasn't working for me... I'm not telling what was wrong, but i fixed it... *cricket cricket* no... not telling what a dunce movement i made... somewhat like my 4am attempt to load a bobbin and forgetting i also needed the top needle threaded.... yeah.... Anyway I'm glad you like it and even a bit proud that you may like it more than the hoopla Wink I also had a blast painting the letters for your nieces and you Smiley I hope to see pics of what is created with the clay.

Oh and thanks for the comment on my digital art. It's my baby. I really need to get back to it again.

I received a lovely package from tvelez yesterday! I work evenings/nights so I had to wait till today to post!

Thanks so much for picking me tvelez, you did a wonderful job!

@mandykaye: I owe you better copied of those pictures i was so upset they got cropped. My digital art is my favorite and i'm so happy you like them. I had a bunch of gemstone and herb BoS stuff before my external HD crashed and took 300GB of files with it... so i am very happy you liked what I sent Cheesy. I'll post another pic of the Tree of Life. It's my favorite work thus far Cheesy

Found this video at clipser by threadbangers and figured i'd take a stab at it!
Video: http://www.clipser.com/watch_video/1020435

I used a jersey knit fabric from joann's - i like the way it flows much more than cotton.

Gave me problems as i had to gather it manually- i don't think i had my bobbin tight enough.

WIP

WIP- just needed to add straps, wanted to make sure it fit her right

ALL DONE! Front (need to tighten straps some more)

Back

so whatcha think? it was pretty easy all things considered! Cheesy
