Ok, so I don't know if its too early to post pictures but I received my package today from my awesome partner, Psycho Sue, and I just can't wait to show everyone. So here we go:

I must give major credit to Sue on the skirt. It fits just right! She really did a great job on the measurements and the construction of it. In fact I'm planing to wear it to dinner tonight in a few hours.  I especially like the little sailor girl t-shirt. I've actually been wanting a shirt with that graphic on it for sometime. The wallet was a really cute idea and the glasses are super cute. I have a pair in black just like it, now I have a variety. All the little extras were really cute. Thanks to Sue for being my very first swap partner and all the goodies she worked on for me  Smiley

3  Paper High Heeled Shoes w/ Link to Templates! in Paper Crafts: Completed Projects: General by DollfaceDarlin on: December 10, 2009 01:54:41 PM

The inspiration

On a very slow and boring day at work, I was searching etsy and found a listing (above picture) that gave me an idea. I searched google and found two different templates so I decided to give it a try:

My 2 different versions:

Finishing touches:

Blog I found the templates at:

and

*above picture of etsy listing is courtesy of "CharonelDesigns" at etsy...of whom I do not know, never met, nor have purchased anything from, but merely admired the work.

5  Silk Spectre II Home-made Costume in Halloween Costumes by DollfaceDarlin on: October 13, 2009 03:08:40 PM
I recently got invited to a Super heroes and Villains birthday party. I decided last minute that I was going so this costume took me 6 hours to make. It cost roughly $20 and was made out of 2 shirts I found at a second hand store. Action pictures are on it's way (from a friend's camera). This is of the costume on my dress form, without the accessories of course (ie: gloves & boots AND fake bangs that clipped on).

6  New At Sewing - Advice on First Purse Projects in Get Product and Website Opinions by DollfaceDarlin on: August 09, 2008 02:49:44 PM
I'm new to sewing. One day I decided I was going to return a $90 dollar webcam I bought to use for when my boyfriend moved to Texas in the beginning of April. I figured until I was ready to move out there to be with him I would use it to talk to him. I never used it, so I traded it in for a new sewing machine and 2 months later, the webcam and the boyfriend are gone (good riddance!! Angry) and now I have this niffty sewing machine, a more than fair trade off I think!

I had an idea to make purses and maybe sell them. Let me know how you all like my little creations. Please keep in mind I'm still new. I've never taken classes so I'm not as advanced and thoughtful in my sewing as most of you are.

Also, seeing as I'm a bit new and have been lurking on Craftser and hardly posting...I can only post links for now. Sorry!  Sad

Thanks for looking!!
