well my 9 yr old son and I have been busy enjoying some baking today
we made chocolate and plain cupcakes and ricecrispie cakes and some with marshmallows in
here is a few photos, oh and my son wanted RED icing lol






yesterday I hade to make 150 cupcakes, here are a few that I didnt think good enough, but will be eaten at a gathering tonight

my sons 4th birthday, made with ready to roll icing, plain sponge with butter icing and jam (jelly)



my sons 5th birthday, plain sponge with butter cream icing jam, and butter cream deroration, I used 'matchsticks' chocolates for the train track





6th birthday spider man! red ready roll icing, and a edible disk, on plain sponge



my mammys cake, I used marshmallow icing, my first attempt, and it tasted  delish,

these are my 3 little ladies, I made them last night, two are still under construction, and they are smaller then a pc mouse
I used that crazy wool for hair, and buttons to finish them off, I have also added a keyring loop to the end of the ribbon, so they could be bag charms or keys rings.

 I made this little dottee today for my 15 yr old son, he was kind of impressed
I put a bone in the 'hair' and on the front as it is a little plain, I also have R I P sewn into the back, it looks scruffy but thats how I wanted it, I am going to make some more but more girly next time

well I made the fondent yesterday, it was FUN!
baked a 6 egg cake today from scratch no packets lol, the fondant went a little gloopy and stuck to my greaseproof paper ..so left it as it is, I used diamond jelly decorations for the flower, and used some left over icing for the 'mam' part, I am english and a northern girl, thats what we call our moms here
I used organza and raffia ribbon for the outside (hides a messy bit) stuck in place with some cocktailsticks, must remember to warn my mam about that!!
this is for my mams birthday tomorrow, hope she likes it

hi crafters, I bought this pattern as I saw some lovely tops on here using this pattern. well it came in the post today, I like pattern A the best, but it looks so hard  , I have never made a item of clothing since school 
is it so hard, or am I being a baby? do I cut out my size or trace over my size? I know to iron the pattern lol (hopeless) I am a complete noob

I made this today, at first, I tried making one without the tut! (silly moo huh) and made a complete mess of it, so I followed the tut, I cut a template out and away I went, I must admit, I am pants at following instructions and had to unpick it twice!
anyway I have had these fabrics kicking about my fabric box for years so thought I would give it a try!
and I love it! I will make more now I am comfortable making them, for my family

[hey people, if i have posted this in the wrong place I am sorry (I am a newbie)I bought a metre of this today for £3! I want to make a item of clothing, but it has to be super easy, I would like a top rather then a skirt, its cotton and poly mix.any ideas please]

[ok guys and dolls! I made this bag today, its my first attempt at a bag, I also made it reversable, and I made it as I went along if only I looked at the tut on making a tote bag first...ohhh well we live and learnand I like my bag, its a little smaller, well actually I can put 4pt milk carton in it and bread, I added the scotty dog as I have about 20 of them in my sewing box, finishes the bag of nicely I hope, alos two little yellow buttons at each side to help it stay in place lolthanks for peeking![img][/img]]
