11  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Completed Projects / Unicorns Rule! on: August 13, 2012 05:36:23 PM

I made the cute as hell unicorn from Ana Paula Rimoli's book, "Amigurumi Toy Box". I have an extreme addiction to her books!
12  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Completed Projects / Just Married on: August 13, 2012 05:34:05 PM

Ana Paula Rimoli is having a contest/crochet-along on her blog this month. All you have to do is use her pattern and change it up a little. I made a bride and groom version of her piggies. I really like how they turned out.

I made the cute little airplane amigurumi from Ana Paula Rimoli's book, "Amigurumi Two". I love her patterns!
14  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Re: Sword and Shield on: July 06, 2012 06:23:04 AM
The pattern said to put 2 sheets of plastic canvas inside them, but the sword was still floppy. So I ran some wire from a coat hanger inside it.
15  COOKING / Dessert / Re: Roger Cake on: July 03, 2012 10:37:43 AM
I made him a carrot cake from scratch with homemade cream cheese icing. He ate all the cake except for the piece with Roger on it and froze it. He's funny.
16  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Sword and Shield on: June 28, 2012 07:35:20 PM

I made a really cute crocheted sword and shield set for a sweet little boy. I found the pattern on etsy. I used acrylic yarn in gold and silver colors.
17  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Completed Projects / Peas in a Pod on: June 28, 2012 07:31:36 PM

I made another set of Peas for my friend's little baby Violet. This time I added cat toy bell thingies into the stuffing of  each pea, so they would make noise when she played with them!
I got the pattern from one of Ana Paula Rimoli's awesome Amigurumi books and used cotton yarn to make them.
18  COOKING / Dessert / Drum Cake on: June 28, 2012 07:27:09 PM

I also made a really cool Drum cake for a friend. I used a 10" double layer chocolate cake with black colored fudge and white buttercream icing, with edible glitter on the sides. I forgot to add the drum sticks!
19  COOKING / Dessert / Ninja Warrior Cake on: June 28, 2012 07:23:54 PM

I made a Ninja Cake for a special little boy. I used an 8" double layer white cake and a lot of buttercream icing.
20  COOKING / Dessert / Roger Cake on: June 28, 2012 07:21:09 PM

I made my boyfriend the coolest birthday cake he ever had!
