2  MORE ART, LESS CRAFT / More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works / Red Flower Watercolour Pencil on: September 20, 2008 09:09:05 PM
I did this a few months ago and was recently thinking about getting this tattooed along with the orchids I have....

I used those watercolour pencil crayons. They are BRILLIANT, but sadly expensive.  Sad

at the bottom, it is all smudged to look blown and faded, but says:
I will stay right here in a dream world that has yet to disappear...

unfortunately my cell cam doesn't show the colour or detail well... but you get the idea Smiley
3  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / My 1st & 2nd embroidery projects! lots o' pics on: September 20, 2008 06:29:04 PM
The first one I did was an embroidered version of a picture I drew. Its supposed to be a vampire skull complete with gold eye teeth.
I have no idea what to do with it now though haha.
So any suggestions on what I could do with it, would be awesome!
Sorry, the pictures arent the greatest cause I only have my cell cam... Sad

Close Up!

and my second one I was smarter about and did it directly on the bag I had in mind. Just a simple craft tote I painted black and left the centre untouched as the full moon.  Still have to find replacement straps for the tote though.
I accidentally ended up sewing a part of the handles with the embroidery and had to cut them off instead of redoing the stitches.
Yea. I'm a noob lol

I used a beer cap for size reference lol

4  MORE ART, LESS CRAFT / More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works / Pencil Drawing of my bf (first post!) on: July 18, 2008 09:58:26 PM
OK, so I have like a million things I cant wait to post on this site, but I'd thought I'd start with my favorite medium and my favorite person haha.

This is a pencil drawing I did of my boyfriend. I never really did portraiture before, so I took it really slow (like 8 hrs+ slow). That, and he's an amazing artist, so pressure, pressure!
Oh! the drawing itself is huge! I think the sketchbook I used is 14" x 11"...

My Drawing:

The Picture:

So its not perfect, but I surprised myself! So I'm happy with it  Smiley
Thanks for looking!
