271  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Re: new summer clothes & swimsuit on: June 10, 2008 06:48:30 AM
You really did a great job on all of these pieces! I really like every single one. The black top with the flowy sleeves is very pretty. The bathing suit is very nice and looks very good on your model! The first top is beautiful. The fabrics are perfect and I love the band at the bottom. The newsprint/red top is super cool. I love the printed fabric and the pockets on this one. Again, great job on all!

These are all great. Those belly dancing skirts are so awesome. I can almost feel myself flowing in them. The white one is fresh-looking and the red on is a great colour. It looks like satin. The flowered dress is very nice and it looks very comfy and cool for the summer. And the beige dress is simply fab. It fits you beautifully and hugs all your right parts. SUPER JOB ON ALL!

Ugly? NO WAY! The print is fab and so is the colouring. I really like te structure of this. Did you use a pattern? I'd love to see how you did this. The collar is great and I adore those little sleeves. They're perfectly girly.

It's simply gorgeous. I'd wear it. The belt is lovely and the flower detail at the bottom is beautiful. Well done!!

OH... MY... WOW!!! This blew my away. I am seriously awestruck! (It HAD to be fave'd.) Dear, you have a great eye for this stuff.... and a great pair of hands, lol.  CONGRATULATIONS on your win. Have you considered trying for Project Runway or something? I am still flabberghasted. It's so beautiful!!! You really did rock this.

Both are beautiful. I am especially stunned over what you did with that second matronly dress! My that's awesome!

I don't really think it's an issue either...sometimes I come across an old posting because I've searched for it or something and if I have a question about it, I'll still post that. I think it's fun when other people do that, too. Good projects never die!

This is a great point. I posted a reply on this topic earlier today. I'd like to clarify that the issue I have is not with the reposting of fabulous projects. That in itself is fantastic. Like you said, "good projects never die"!! My frustration is over not being able to weed through to the posts I haven't read yet. I do love the sense of community here and wouldn't want to risk killing it!

Hi There! I am a newbie here and I've been lurking around reading all the fantastic posts. I am glad I found yours here. To be honest with you, *Thread Necromacy* (LMBO!) is already bugging me. It's frustrating because I can't seem to figure out if there's a way to skip through all the stuff I have already seen. It's very time consuming to try to figure out where you really left off.

Also, when browsing the boards (for example, the 'Reconstructed Clothing' board), I'd like to be able to quickly skip to the page I left off on on my last visit. The only way I can figure to do that so far is to favourite the page. As far as I can tell there isn't a way to skip to, say, page 50 quickly. And additionally, when you are on a board (correct terminology?) and click the "Most Recent Posts" button it includes all categories instead of listing the most recent posts of the board you are browsing.

I don't know how easy it is to reconstruct this place, but I was wondering if perhaps they could add a column for strictly new posts or even make it so we are able to sort by original post date. I would love to be able to skip the replies on all the posts I have already seen when I come back later to see new stuff. This is a really great place in my opinion, but some restructuring could really make it  SUPER DUPER. Thanks for the opportunity to let it out and thank you for listening!

~Clarachk~

P.S. If I have mistakenly posted this in the wrong place, please let me know and I will be happy to take it to the right section for reposting.
