How did you cut out the bird on the first pic?....its cut from sterling silver right?

How much and where did you get the tool to cut the circles....or is this where the secrets come in, lol

I heard when you use the metal stamps if you use a lighter hammer (weight) you dont get the circles around the letters

They look awesome though....is that aluminum or silver? Where do you get the circle shapes from?

Hi,
I am trying to find a good solution to traveling with my jewelry. I'd like to make something unique that folds up and can open to be its own display. I have a lot of necklaces, bracelets, and earrings and I don't want them to get tangled in route. I need some thing that I can lock and possibly work as a carry on on an airplane.
However, my main concern is the tangling and some how being able to unfold or open it to be an inst-display that actually look presentable. My style is very eclectic and I am very open to using materials such as peg board, plywood, and whatever I can find to achieve that found object/boho-retro-modern look. The goal is to save time setting up and breaking down and not having to travel with too many display items. If you have any Ideas, please email me at denisu81@msn.com.

And for those of you tat have display issues you can try to catch inspiration like I do:
go to the mall and go to your favorite store...look at how they display their items...stores like urban outfitters, anthropologie...etc have great methods of display using inexpensive item like things you can find outside or in your house already. Make sure you bring a camera and go window shopping for ideas! stores are using all sorts of inexpensive, clever ideas to display their items

or there is a utrecht also in midtown near foxx theatre across the street from a starbuck (its on peachtree st)
if you need inspiration try going to little 5 points. Its off ponce de leon. you can google it to find the exact location...there is all kinds of vintage stuff there
