Rabbits aren't rodents.. they're lagomorphs (Third year vet student hehe).

But anyway, I'd agree, that definitely looks like a rabbit skull to me!

I forgot to say what it's made of - plain black t-shirt, bit of faux fur for the tummy that I picked up in a charity shop, then the eyes and ears and beak (mouth?!) etc are made from foam or felt - basically whatever I had lying around in suitable colours!!

Ha, thanks, his t-shirt was another crafty idea - I emailed someone on ebay selling transfers and asked if they could make a snorlax one for me and just ironed it on for him! He refuses to wear it now though - I WOULD!!

Me and my housemates are hosting a house warming party when we get back to uni this September - I offered to make a costume for one of them! The theme for our party is retro 90s toys/characters so I've been brainstorming and decided to make him an awesome furby costume!!

Hope you like it In all it was a really cheap and quick project - cost around £3 to make (including the T-shirt) and took 2-3 hours.

Now I've just got to think of my costume!! I'm thinking maybe a beanie baby (just be an animal with a giant TY tag attached to me), or maybe rupert bear.. What do you guys think?!

I made this Aipom cake for my boyfriend's 21st.. he requested it because he likes monkeys and pokemon.. so a monkey pokemon it was!

I made 4 cakes so it was double layered with chocolate icing inbetween the 2 chocolate sponge layers.  It has buttercream icing which i dyed with food colouring (red and blue), and then the face of aipom is fondant roll out icing with chocolate icing for his drawn on bits!

Enjoy! It's the second cake I've ever made. I've included a picture of my first cake (the rat) too!!

Sorry if this isn't the right place for this/just a stupid thing to ask.. but basically I've never made any clothing or anything but would LOVE to start.  There's so much stuff I want off fashion/shop websites but as I'm a poor student I can't buy whatever I want I've only done a bit of customisation before with stencils etc.. I'd like to try the whole sewing/designing thing though!

I was just wondering if anyone knows of any good links to free tutorials/patterns for quite fashionable clothing?

I'm looking for a supplier of vintage charms! I keep seeing lovely jewellery made with them and I'd love to make some for myself! Does anyone know of any shops/online shops? (Probably wholesale is better as it'll be better value).
