1  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Vinyl skirt :) on: October 31, 2010 01:11:27 PM
I attended to a fetish party some weeks ago, and I decided to make a vinyl skirt matching a red and black corset I have. This is the second skirt I make, so I was afraid that the result was not going to be wearable, but I finally manage to make it quite good ^^

I tried to put a hidden zipper, but I could not make it perfectly, so yo can see the black zipper there...

Here you have a couple of photos. Thanks for looking!!

2  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Zebra buttercup bag on: October 02, 2010 10:56:59 AM
I made this yesterday, using the buttercup pattern (http://www.made-by-rae.com/2009/02/free-buttercup-bag-sewing-pattern.html), and adding a zipper. This is my first bag with a zipper to close the entire bag, so as it is not perfect, I'm really proud of it Cheesy

Hope you like it. Thanks for looking!
3  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: General / Vinyl cushions for my new sofa! ^^ on: August 22, 2010 04:47:03 AM
Well, this is my first post about crafts for home... Here you have a couple of cushions I've made for my new white sofa. I wanted to have a black sofa at my new home, but there was a great offer at the Ikea store and we finally bought it white. I thought the sofa didn't completely match with all our black furniture, so I decided to make some black & white cushions with one of my favorite materials: vinyl.

So here you have: one is black and white vinyl, and I added buckles in the middle (it looks as if it was a corset or something like that Tongue), and the other one is vinyl covered by black net fabric.

Detail of the buckles:

It took me a lot of time to sew this small pieces of vinyl for the buckles, but I think they look great Smiley

Thanks for looking, comments are welcome! Cheesy
4  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / 2nd & 3rd bags + a fanny pack!! (lots of pics!) on: June 22, 2008 12:30:07 PM
I've been working on new bags these days, but I found that my first bag was a lot better than my 2nd and 3rd ones...

This is the second bag I make, it was really hard to sew the lining... so I got some creases in the sewing line.

I made this tulle and bow combination for the sides. I like them, but the bag finally turned out quite small due to my mistakes sewing! I don't know if I'm using it...

My third bag (using the same shape I made for the first one):

I used a nice badge I bought in Germany, and I also made this detail:

And... my first zippered pocket for the lining!

My 4th attempt with bags led me to make something like a fanny pack. I had this in mind before, but I was absolutely convinced of it after seeing this one: http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=250523.msg2784228#msg2784228

And... This is the one I made!! I wanted to use vinyl piping, I didn't find it in the stores, so I made it myself!! (I'm really proud of that! Cheesy)

I love my new fanny pack, and I think that it finally turned out really similar to my style, so I think I'm using it a lot! (as you see, I always use black for everything, I love that colour).

Thanks for looking!
5  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / My first skirt!! ^^ on: June 01, 2008 11:20:36 AM
After my first bag and a purse, I tried the circle skirt. This has been really hard to make, and I had some problems putting the zipper. But here it is. I don't know if I'm wearing it, as it has wrinkles in the satin tape attached to the tulle (the tulle is circle but the satin tape isn't), and finally the waistband is not as good as I wanted (it's quite big in the waist).

Anyway, I'm quite happy with it, as I have learned a lot! Advices are welcome to solve the problems for the next time. ^^

6  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / My first bag!! (and a matching wristband!) :) on: May 24, 2008 03:35:44 AM
Hi everyone! This is my very first project. I've made this cyber styled bag and wristband. I've used black canvas, pink piping (pink tulle for the wristband too), and magic tape. I hope you like it! (I still have to remove some white marks from it... I couln't wait to post it!!  The inspiration came through the badge, which I bought some time ago (it's the logo of one of my favorite music bands, Combichrist)

Comments are appreciated!^^ Thank you everyone for writing all that useful posts!!!! I love this place... Cheesy
