They're definitely great for using up last bits of your stash! I do some long crochet chains in there to make it thicker, or something a row of bobble stitches to make it more interesting.

thanks everybody!

6  Halloween / Halloween Costumes / creepy cute costume? on: August 29, 2009 09:57:52 AM
So I'm currently brainstorming like crazy for what to be for Halloween this year. I'd like to be something at least kind of creepy so I can have fun with makeup/fake stitches/bruises/cuts/blood/whatever, but I'll be spending it with my LDR boyfriend and all his friends so I'd like to still look a little sexy/cute, you know? I can sew or reconstruct, so the outfit isn't a problem once I think of what it should be.

any ideas? (a plus would be if it was something I could do with my boyfriend, not necessarily a couple costume but maybe something related, but its not necessary)

thanks a bunch!

I actually didn't finish my grandparents table runner in time - its still not even done Sad It couldn't be helped though, I've been having some problems with nausea lately and crocheting has been totally out.

Everyone else though LOVED their gifts Smiley

Time to finish up all those last minute things everybody!

My table runner STILL isn't finished, but I've got time and the stuff thats left is quick to do so it should (hopefully!) be all done in time. Otherwise all my gifts, crochet and otherwise, are finished! Hope its the same for the rest of you!

Merry Christmas everybody Smiley
