1  Black Satin Little Black Dress in Clothing: Completed Projects: General by liz64458 on: July 01, 2008 06:21:04 PM
This was my first pattern and I used a tricky fabric (satin) so some of the seams puckered up.  I used the view B version of New Look 6751 pattern.  I made this for our one year anniversary because I really wanted to wear a little black dress.  Every girl needs a little black dress right?

2  Indian Silk Shirt in Clothing: Completed Projects: General by liz64458 on: May 23, 2008 11:40:26 AM
I needed more button up shirts for work so I decided to take a stab at making my own.
First I cut up an old button up shirt that fit nicely to use as a pattern.

Then I cut up an old skirt I had that was made from a very delicate Indian Silk.
I put some little capped sleeves on and used a black thread for stitching detail.
I finally used how to use my buttonhole stitch on my Singer so I added tons of buttons!
Thanks for Looking!

I found these cute knitted pajama pants on an Old Navy sale rack and converted them into a comfy skirt!

I love the little buttons in the front.
