Sorry for not checking in for a while. Hope all is well with one and all.
Just got back from four days camping in the Scottish highlands. Beautiful place and insanely warm and sunny for September... Brilliant!
Had a LOT of pages to catch up on this morning.
I'm feeling slightly alarmed at the amount of people who have finished their items   Embarrassed
Still at the planning out stage of mine.... but due to a flash of inspiration while paddling in a mountain stream on Saturday, I know just what I'm doing!

Haven't checked in for a while, my little lad has been sick, so no chance to get on-line.
All good now though.
Now I always say I like chocolate as dark as possible, but I may have met my match...
My gorgeous man brought me home a present yesterday. A bar(well, not really a bar, more of a log) of "Willies Supreme cacao, Venezuelan Black 100% pure cacao" no sugar, no nothing, basically a chunk of chocolate in its purest form.

He knows I like to add chocolate to all sorts of things like chilli beef, venison stew, etc, but I've never got my hands on something like this before. it smells great, just don't know where to start with it Huh finding it a bit intimidating.... it's just sat on the desk looking at me... Undecided

Just been reading all the chocolate bug posts...mmmm Grin ; Tongue Grin

Here in Edinburgh, a particular local delicacy is the now infamous deep fried Mars bar. Some people will tell you it's an urban myth, but it's true I've seen it with my own eyes and even tasted the greasy confection.... you can feel your arteries hardening as it slithers down yer throat. I tell you Scottish people will batter and fry just about anything, hence our spectacular heart attack rates....

I've been (nervously) looking to join in my first swap and this one spoke to me. Grin
I'm hoping that you guys will welcome in a fellow choco-fiend.
Here in Scotland we're famous for our love of all things sweet and sugary and where I live in Edinburgh we've got some fantastic sweetie shops... my personal fave The Edinburgh Fudge Kitchen  mmmmmmmmm.... Rich chocolate orange ... Belgium chocolate swirl......mmmmmmmmmm. Looking forward to sharing the wealth Grin Grin Grin Grin

Cool. I'm great at producing random crochet motifs, but not so good at finding a use for them. I'm going to try doing a few in scrubbing/cleaning cloth friendly stuff. Maybe then Him Indoors will stop saying "Very nice dear, but what's it for?"
