2  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / New Purse! on: April 22, 2009 04:38:51 PM
I didn't know if I should put this in the reconstructed or here, cause the purse was made out of a pair of black pants...you just can't really tell Smiley So I decided here Smiley. Anyways, I made this purse a couple weeks ago, because I was really bored and I wanted to make a purse, so I got to work and came up with this purse. I added the beaded/buttoned heart, because I thought it was too plain and wanted to make it embellished, since I usually see a lot of purses with embellishment on here, I thought I'd give it a try. So what do you guys think?  Smiley

3  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Paper Crafts: Discussion and Questions / Inchies? on: March 18, 2009 07:41:36 AM

This might be a stupid question to some, but are inchies really 1x1 inch? That seems so small! Or is that code for like 2x2 inches? Sorry, I know this is an odd question, but I wanted to try something different and I don't do so well with big sheets of blank peper, if you get my meaning, and though that inchies would be cool to start with, but I don't know much about them, so thanks to whoever can help me :-).

4  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Magazine purse on: February 11, 2009 05:51:14 AM
I haven't posted anything since last year and when I made this magazine purse, I figured it was ok enough to post here on the awe-inspiring craftster. I've seen many of these wrapper purses around on the net, on craftster, once or twice in real life, and since I have a monumental collection of magazine stacks and needed something to do with them. Without further ado:

The zipper was the bane of my existence...I still hate zippers. Any comments/criticism/help for the next one? Wink

6  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / ruffled skirt on: November 14, 2008 07:02:41 AM
I used this tutorial http://grandrevivaldesign.typepad.com/photos/ruffled_skirts_tutorial/skirts4000.html and sized it up for myself, since that is for a five or six year old and I'm a lot older than that. I should have made the top ruffle a little longer, but I'll remember that for next time. Comments?

8  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / 2 purses on: November 10, 2008 03:16:37 PM
I made these two purses for my swap partner in the Book Lover's Swap. She's received them and likes them, which is great, since I was having lots of Swap Anxiety over my first swap.

9  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / t shirt recon on: October 06, 2008 10:00:02 AM
I reconstructed my first t shirt yesterday. I don't have a before pic, but just imagine a plain white t shirt...not that hard  Wink. Here it is:

10  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Arm Warmers on: September 15, 2008 11:46:22 AM
I don't know exactly what they'd be called-arm warmers, fingerless gloves, gauntlets-I just kinda winged it, since I didn't have a pattern for it, I was just kinda playing around with yarn and stuff. So here they are:
