2  New Purse! in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by tigrisgalaxy on: April 22, 2009 04:38:51 PM
I didn't know if I should put this in the reconstructed or here, cause the purse was made out of a pair of black pants...you just can't really tell Smiley So I decided here Smiley. Anyways, I made this purse a couple weeks ago, because I was really bored and I wanted to make a purse, so I got to work and came up with this purse. I added the beaded/buttoned heart, because I thought it was too plain and wanted to make it embellished, since I usually see a lot of purses with embellishment on here, I thought I'd give it a try. So what do you guys think?  Smiley

I am posting Goatgoddess's, pocketwatch's and WYOKrista's pages that I got in the mail Smiley. I got Goatgoddess's page on Monday...I think Smiley and the other two today! I love them all! This was a really fun swap! All mine have been received as well and I've gotten all 4 in the mail! Sorry the pics are blurry, but I couldn't get the focus to work. Ugh! On to the goodies!

I received Gamemom42's page last week, but I was soooo busy that I didn't get time to post pics. So here they are finally. My theme was Exotic Places, and her exotic place was Australia. I love the little Save the Rainforest tag that hangs off it.  Grin  Smiley

5  Magazine purse in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: Reconstructed by tigrisgalaxy on: February 11, 2009 05:51:14 AM
I haven't posted anything since last year and when I made this magazine purse, I figured it was ok enough to post here on the awe-inspiring craftster. I've seen many of these wrapper purses around on the net, on craftster, once or twice in real life, and since I have a monumental collection of magazine stacks and needed something to do with them. Without further ado:

The zipper was the bane of my existence...I still hate zippers. Any comments/criticism/help for the next one? Wink

6  ruffled skirt in Clothing: Completed Projects: General by tigrisgalaxy on: November 14, 2008 07:02:41 AM
I used this tutorial http://grandrevivaldesign.typepad.com/photos/ruffled_skirts_tutorial/skirts4000.html and sized it up for myself, since that is for a five or six year old and I'm a lot older than that. I should have made the top ruffle a little longer, but I'll remember that for next time. Comments?

8  2 purses in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by tigrisgalaxy on: November 10, 2008 03:16:37 PM
I made these two purses for my swap partner in the Book Lover's Swap. She's received them and likes them, which is great, since I was having lots of Swap Anxiety over my first swap.

10  Re: The Book-Lovers Swap Gallery! in The Swap Gallery by tigrisgalaxy on: September 26, 2008 06:46:52 AM
I got my package from hockamama, who is soooo awesome, yesterday. She totally rocks. I was not expecting so much stuff. Without further ado, here's the stuff:

The tote, which I have to say it is so nice to have a tote made for me, instead of having to make one for myself, and I hope my mom doesn't steal it :

The magnets. She made magnets of the houses in Cedar Cove, a series of books that I like, they are so cute!:

The book holder pocket for beside my bed...I also hope my mom doesn't steal this either:

The cute journal:

The book, that I didn't expect, and bookmarks...I love the black one, cause it has a little kitty bead on the end:

These book covers have the coolest fabric! I wish I could find fabric like this:

Hockamama: if you have better pics, feel free to post them. I love all the stuff, now I just am so worried she won't like my stuff when I send.
