If you really want to keep it, you could tea dye it and lay it out in a fashion like a pose on some kind of backer board then have it framed and hung???

That is a lovely dress, one I could not have the patience to do.  I hate gathering.  And the details of lace insets.  Really really lovely.

What a great fabric.  Sometimes you can find gems at wal mart.  And only your second project.  That is great.  I remember my first, ahem.......a few years ago when i was 17, and I still love sewing and continue to do so now.  You will do very well as you are starting with a nice eye for a wonderful print to go with that pattern.

Keep up the good work,

Nice, very nice.  For a felt shoe, would it be more comfy to make it a tad larger and then sew the seams on the outside and not turn the item when done???  I just saw there are sooooo may different kinds of felt that you could use the stiffer kind on the sole and a softer on the upper.  And at Michael's craft store I saw they had them in neat prints also.  I have not used felt in ages and was amazed how much it has changed and how versatile it now is for many projects.

Kudos to your design.
