11  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / The Faery Poppet Glitter - My first swap **Image overload** on: July 14, 2009 05:25:14 AM
I participated in the Mini Poppet Swap and made for my partner, hotgluegert, a faery to go with her faery collection. Her name is Glitter and she was a ball to make. I used the Eleanor pattern from craftewoman and the poppet dress pattern from ghilie. Thank you so much!!!

I really enjoyed crafting her and hope she is well loved in her new home  Smiley

You can see the pictures my partner posted here in the swap gallery http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=310633.60 . And the wonderful poppets everyone has been making in the poppet along here http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=205341.0.

And here are a few pictures that I had taken before she made her trip to her new home. Oh I do apologize if the pictures come out huge, I tried to post them in a small size that wasn't too small. This is my first time posting a project of any kind and am getting used to the whole posting process  Smiley

This is Glitter with her wings and faery dress.

Glitter without her wings, they are removable. There are 2 little eye hooks sewn to her back that the wings attach to. The wings were a bit heavy for velcro I think lol.

Here she is enjoying my son's swing set. You can see the back of her glittery wings here.

Glitter's second outfit she was sent with. The top was crafted by myself which I'm pretty proud of. And the pants were mini versions of the ones found here http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=254336.0

This is a picture of Glitter and her caterpillar buddy made from pompoms.

A shot of everything Glitter took with her to her new home.

I really had a ball participating in this swap and hope to do more swaps in the future.

Thanks for looking!! Poppet kisses!!
