21  HOME SWEET HOME / Interior Decorating: Completed Projects / Re: Living in 700 square feet. on: January 13, 2009 03:07:42 PM
I feel your pain! I too live in a 700 square foot apartment. You did an excellent job with such a small space! Maybe Ikea is the answer to all of my small-living-space woes...

25  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Re: Kick-Butt Zelda Table (four kick-butt pics) on: December 11, 2008 02:55:52 PM
You totally resurrected that table! I like the design you chose to make it video game/Zelda-oriented. Unmistakable but still not totally in-your-face. Good job! Cheesy

Great recons! I love what you did with the bookcase, I'll have to keep that trick in mind! And good on you, only spending $3 on all of it! Impressive!
27  HOME SWEET HOME / Pet-Related Crafts: Discussion and Questions / Re: Alternative to a Dog Sweater? on: December 08, 2008 01:59:33 PM
This might sound a little ridiculous, but I figured I would suggest it anyway. How about something along the lines of a onesie or long johns? Maybe if it was anchored by both being around the head/chest area and around the tail/rump area (so long as it didn't tug and cause discomfort anywhere, and had the necessary open areas to have freedom to "go") it would stay on better? I don't know, this idea sounds pretty goofy, but I hope it helps!
28  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: General / Re: craptacular bird cage to craftacular desk organiser? on: December 08, 2008 11:42:22 AM
That's adorable! What a great way to turn something of sentimental value into a functional piece of decor. I love the little bird on top, great finishing touch.  Cheesy
29  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Re: curb side chair to funky fab! on: December 08, 2008 11:22:55 AM
You are one brave lady for taking that chair on! Your work paid off though, that chair is pretty sweet.

Wow, I wish I lived in your neighborhood! All we get here are moldy armchairs! Great job giving them a new lease on life, I especially love Starsky (and his Hutch). That glitter vinyl is great! I only ever see black and red around here!
