1  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / Flower necklaces on: February 06, 2016 04:49:51 PM
Here's one I made last summer.  The flower is a vintage button.  It kind of looks like a toothpaste cap flower.   Smiley

This is the first one I made.

This one is on a string of MOP beads.  The cab and rhinestone drop are vintage.  I set it in a couple of filigree pieces.

2  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Beads: Completed Projects / Edwardian necklace & bracelet on: February 06, 2016 04:42:54 PM
This is a set that I made a while ago.

The swags of chain hang better when I'm wearing it. I may swap them out for more delicate chains, they look a little heavy to me now.

The dark beads are not so dull looking IRL.  They are cobalt blue with an iris finish- which is hard to capture in photos.  Wink
3  HOME SWEET HOME / Interior Decorating: Completed Projects / Little twig tree with ornaments on: February 05, 2016 05:05:26 PM
It was hard to say goodbye to our christmas tree, it was so pretty.  Sad

I decided to make this little tree for our mantel and decorate it with bird ornaments to remind me spring will be here eventually.  Wink

4  CLOTHING / Clothing: Discussion and Questions / Velcro Fabric Fusion (the iron-on kind) Opinions, anyone? on: January 10, 2010 03:07:30 PM
Has anybody used this?  Did you like it?  I'm also wondering if it's as stiff as sew-on velcro or softer.

5  Georgia / Georgia: North / In Atlanta- Looking for a sewing group who makes these pillows on: November 07, 2009 11:31:31 AM
I'd like to join a sewing group in the Atlanta, GA area that makes these for breast cancer patients.  I'm wondering if there is one in downtown or midtown ATL.  Can anybody help?

I'd like to join a sewing group in the Atlanta, GA area that makes these for BC patients.  I'm not having much luck finding one.  Can anybody help?

I posted this in 'Crafting for Good and Not Evil' but I thought it might get more views here.  Smiley

8  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / Copper bird bracelets on: April 23, 2009 04:34:51 PM
I'm recovering from a broken rib (OW!!!).   I was on serious painkillers last week and about all I could concentrate on was making jewelry.  Smiley   I don't even want to read what I posted then-  I hope it made sense!   Cheesy

Here are some pics-  they're not the best.  I really need a new camera!

9  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / Vintage owls & flowers on: January 08, 2009 06:15:49 PM
It's been so gray and rainy around here lately I had to make something cheerful!  Smiley

These are made of vintage plastic and metal flowers & beads, a piece of broken glass and 18 gauge wire.  I'm playing around with ways to make 'settings' for the flowers and glass pieces with wire.  I can't find the settings I want anywhere and I'm much too lazy to solder!  Wink

10  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / Coiled Wire Bird Bracelet on: December 12, 2008 02:53:11 PM
This bracelet took a long time to make.  It might need a bigger flower on the end to balance it better but I decided to just put it together already.  Wink
