I forgot to take before pictures but these tables and chair were headed to a wood pile somewhere. I tightened the rungs up on a couple of them and then added imagination and paint:
Steampunk Chair: You can't really tell from the pictures but the silver parts of the chair have glitter mixed in with polyurethane for the finish.
I went to a yard sale and everyone passed on this vanity (it was marked $10.00) and even though the veneer on top was bucked and missing in places I could still see it was a beautiful piece and deserved some TLC. So I began practicing how to do faux marble and this is what I came up with (the top is not as yellow as it looks in the first picture):
Today I decided my office needed some zip I cut out some polka dot stencils with contact paper and a rotary cutter. And I painted the fan blades as well as the window sill & frame. The green paint is lime green so it is much brighter than it appears in the pictures
Like so many other small businesses our Boutique/Consignment shop is struggling and we have been wracking our brains to look for ways to advertise on the cheap. Since I have a habit of "coloring" jeans when I'm on the phone I thought why not put some advertisement on them too! Jeans came from eBay ($3.99) shoes from our shop ($5.50) C&C welcome.
I own a consignment boutique and we have hundreds of jeans that get donated to local charities every month so I decided to keep a pair by the phone to use for doodling. This is what I've come up with so far:
