1  CROCHET / Crochet: Discussion and Questions / Re: Christmas 2008 on: December 25, 2008 12:41:15 PM
Hi you all! Merry Christmas!
Well, how was it to see your loved ones open the a-lot-of-love-and-a-lot-of-work-presents you had made them??? I LOVED IT! Cheesy My sister had tears in her eyes when she got her present; an afghan, and my mum was all weeeeee-heeee when she saw her purse So much fun! Cheesy My grandmother opened her present and found a tablerunner, and she said: "well, THIS is art". Grin

I will absolutly make more for my family, they are GREAT recievers!

Hopw you all have the same good feeling, that the hours of crocheting was worth it.. Smiley
2  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Completed Projects / Re: The First Birth: Little Dolly! (3 pics!) on: December 20, 2008 05:14:11 PM
She is beautiful.. Smiley I think her name is Tabatha or something like that... :p

Her face is sweet, I would maybebaby added a small, shy smile, but I'm not sure... Smiley

Witch item do you mean? I don't think any of them are difficult, and if you mean the pouches, I would say that it would be a great first project. Smiley I just did a chain (about 25 ch), then sc each row. When it was a rectangle, I folded it in two, and crocheted the two sides together. Smiley

Lydia the Strange:
Ah, thanks!! Cheesy I like the coloursful pouches, and you are right; they would make good gifts. And I think it's great to be able to make something nice out of scrapyarn. Smiley I actually think the santahat is a little too small, but I can live with it. Wink

horsygirl321:
You did? It was fun, right?? So quick and easy, gotta love that. Wink It was almost addictive, I want to make more... Wink Too bad I don't wear thin scarfs like that myself.. Smiley
5  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Scrap pouches, a santahat, a headband and a one-skein scarf. on: December 15, 2008 02:52:37 PM
I have been crocheting a little bit lately, and here's some pictures:

Scrap-project! I used only scarps for these, no pattern, just sc each row..

I added buttons to this one, and it lives in my purse, taking care of my lipstick ++ Smiley

A small one.

And I love this one.. I even lined it!

I made a santahat for me! Just simple DC around.

From the back:

A headband worked in hdc:

And a one-skein scarf, pattern from Debbie Stroller's "The happy hooker" book. But you can also find the pattern here: http://www.joann.com/static/project/0608/PA00005.pdf

The one with the flower is made from a pattern from the book "crocheted accessories" by Helen Ardley, so I can't share that one.. Wink The other two is just made with dc around. Smiley

Thanks. Smiley

10  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Completed Projects / Christmas Teddy on: November 07, 2008 04:04:09 PM

The white yarn has some sparkle/glitter in it, my pictures doesn't show that. Too bad. Smiley Here's a link to the pattern I used for the teddy: http://crochetme.com/patterns/captain-cute-pirate-teddy

I just made the hat and scarf up as I went along. Smiley

This is going under the Christmas tree for a nephew of mine. Smiley
