Yeah, I made my sister and I both matching hoodies sort of at the last minute. And then my husband went out trick or treating with us too, so we said he was a time traveler because how else could he be hanging out with a pack of dinosaurs? We had a lot of fun.

Now that's how you do an Ursula costume. Nice!
33  Halloween / Halloween Costumes / Re: Ocarina of Time family on: November 03, 2012 08:46:49 AM
Nerdy families are the best! Cheesy You guys all look really awesome together and I think you chose everyone's character very well. Also there is nothing wrong with space lesbians. Hehe
34  Halloween / Halloween Costumes / Re: I'm the Lorax...I speak for the trees! on: November 03, 2012 08:44:49 AM
Wow. That's...really impressive. I know it was a time crunch but you did a really good job on that. I look forward to being able to sink my teeth into a project that requires this kind of construction at some point because it looks really fun and the results are always so cool. She looks great.
35  Halloween / Halloween Costumes / Re: Flame Princess on: November 03, 2012 08:42:34 AM
That's a really cool adaptation of Flame Princess' outfit. It's instantly recognizable while still being functional. Plus it's Adventure Time and you simply can't go wrong with that. Awesome job!
36  Halloween / Halloween Costumes / Re: My first Steampunk frock! on: November 03, 2012 08:41:28 AM
Oh nice. I really love the fabrics you chose. I get a little tired of seeing steampunk stuff only coming in various shades of brown because the Victorian era had all kinds of colors. So great fabric selection and clearly an awesome job on sewing. I love this.
37  Halloween / Halloween Costumes / Re: Truly OUTRAGEOUS! Jem Costume on: November 03, 2012 08:39:34 AM
That's awesome! I loved Jem and you did a great job recreating the costume. Also having all that glitter is a nice touch. No such thing as too much glitter, I say.
38  Halloween / Halloween Costumes / Re: Bi-Polar Bear on: November 02, 2012 04:01:34 PM
You did a really good job on this. It's cute and scary at the same time.
39  Halloween / Halloween Costumes / Re: Ice Angry Bird 2012 on: November 02, 2012 07:52:44 AM
That's really cool! I love that iridescent fabric and any excuse to use it is a good one. While I'm not familiar with that particular Angry Bird, he definitely looks like an ice cube and obviously an angry bird so he's very recognizable. You did a really good job! And he looks so happy which is really the most important thing.
40  Halloween / Halloween Costumes / Re: Na Na Na Na Batman! on: November 02, 2012 07:47:42 AM
Oh man, that is adorable. He looks so happy to be Batman! You did an awesome job on this.
