I, too, would like to inquire as to the potential success of any such bribery. You've done a wonderful job.
2  NEWS AND DISCUSSION ABOUT CRAFTSTER / Latest News / Re: 04/02/13 - Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious Craftster April Fools! on: April 08, 2013 11:07:04 AM
I for one was laughing all "Monday"!  It was so "supercalifragilisti cexpialidocious" for the day.  My "sweatervest" is surely missed so thanks for posting the links to the pics.
Take a breath all of you "bucket"ers, it's a JOKE!  Everything went back to normal and a lot of us enjoyed the fun, but then again we're probably "almonds".
Thank you "monsters" can't wait to see w"bucket" next year holds!

We can dislike a joke for being bad and negatively impacting the usability of the site while still fully understanding that it's a joke. No need to be so dismissive of our opinions just because you disagree with it. It's kind of condescending.
3  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / The Swap Gallery / Re: Up to Three Tiny Adventure Time Things Swap on: April 02, 2013 01:07:16 PM
I'm so glad both of my partners liked their stuff. It was my first time painting stuff, first time working with shrink plastic, and first time carving stamps. I was sort of afraid that it wouldn't turn out due to my lack of experience, but I always worry that my stuff won't be good enough so I guess that's nothing new. Anyway, it was a pleasure crafting for you both! Artmomto5, you daughter looks like she's having a blast cosplaying Marceline!

So I received from Dee (WhimsicallyObsessed) and she totally spoiled me. First we have this awesome Ricardio box with a whole bunch of glitter on the outside which is well-sealed so no glitter coming off on me (thank you!) and then you open it up and the inside is like woah!

Then we have this totally sweet painting of Ricardio wielding a broken bottle on an ACEO sized canvas. It's my first ACEO thing and I love it and I hope I get more of these in future swaps 'cause they're cool.

And finally, this delightful little dangly Peppermint Butler made of polymer clay who is now hanging out with the LSP and Lemongrab that Dee made for me before.

So that's my haul. It's awesome and I very much appreciate it! Thank you.

Oh, actually one last thing. Artmomto5, my niece was over for her birthday party on Saturday and she saw the wallet you made for me. She loved it so much that I pretty much had to give it to her. She uses it to hold her tooth fairy money now.

Anyway, thanks everybody. Good swap!
4  NEWS AND DISCUSSION ABOUT CRAFTSTER / Craftster Itself / Re: Major Bug problem! on: April 01, 2013 03:57:05 PM
Can I just say that as April Fool's Day pranks go, this one isn't funny? I don't mean to be that guy, but I feel I have to share. I'm finding the world filter stuff so annoying that this is the only thing I'll be posting today. I don't think it's a clever prank and it's making it difficult to use the forum which is sort of the entirety of the site. So...yeah. I can't wait for tomorrow. Maybe next year try something that doesn't negatively impact usability of the site?
5  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / New Swap Theme Ideas / Re: Craft the Rainbow Swap? on: March 31, 2013 01:29:05 PM
I love rainbows and I'd maybe be interested, but I'd definitely leave out indigo as its own color. I'd also probably want to do a much smaller swap 'cause I get overwhelmed easily and 12 points would be crazy expensive to ship. I'll be keeping an eye on this either way.

Okay, no worries, it showed up in AL today so I'm confident it'll reach her. Phew!

What happens if it never shows?

I'm kind of worried about my package for Artmomto5. I live in TX and sent it to AL, but the tracking only shows stops in MA and NH as of yesterday. The box was so small I had to wrap the label around even though it said not to, but I took care to make sure everything was still legible and the barcodes were still easy to scan. Oh man, I hope it doesn't get lost. I didn't even remember to take pictures of any of the stuff I made for this swap. Sad

I actually love Bravest Warriors. It's a slightly more mature (or I guess immature, depending on your perspective) feel than Adventure Time, but I think it's pretty great in its own right. It's got a comic series, too.

For what it's worth, Artmomto5, I think that what you sent me and what I'm sending you are roughly equivalent and I'm not at all disappointed in what I got. I pretty much always feel that way in swaps, though, like I just didn't do enough because I see everyone else sending all kinds of extras. So at least on my end, no need to worry. We're good!
