1961  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / The Swap Gallery / Re: Dotees - Mini Art Dolls Round 8 Send Out Monday February 8, 2010 on: January 19, 2010 01:26:34 PM
I love crochet crone's face! And teag that alien is wicked cool.

I received from PirateColey as well today - woot woot! And I love my new dotee!

Her name is "Green" Tree, and she is made from %100 leftovers. I love her contemplative expression and the little hanging plastic charms. PC also sent a cute card and a baggie of salvaged buttons! *loves*

Thank you thank you!

I'm drooling over this list!

Had a good one today: smoked gouda, avocado, veggie cream cheese, cucumber and greens on sourdough. It was so yummy and light!

1968  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / Re: freaky-ish necklace holder on: January 16, 2010 02:24:26 PM
The creepiness factor is just enough to push this from Neato to Awesomesauce.

Agreed! This was totally one of my favorite presents this year! Grin

Repurposed clementine desk box

The crafting cure! Cheaper than therapy!  Cheesy

So I had this clementine case that was just kicking around waiting for a little spiff-up, and today I found half of a falling-apart book with nice yellowing pages in the free box on my college campus. I mod podged some pages to the outside and inside and glued on some big wooden beads for the feet.

Beginning of life:

New home on my desk:

I really like the look, and it freed up some space on my desk.
So that was my Friday night! I feel better now.
