1  IMAGE REPRODUCTION TECHNIQUES / Other Image Reproduction Techniques: Discussion and Questions / Photoshoot question! on: January 29, 2010 12:43:46 AM
Okay.. so I have NO IDEA where to post this! Sorry in advance if it is in the wrong section!
So, my question(s) are:
I am going to do a photoshoot, but I need to get ideas. I kinda have an idea of different things, but don't know what to do! (That sounded better in my head)

I wanted to get you crafty ladies opinions.

These photos are going to be head/bust shots right now.

Maybe I should say somethings I like:
Vintage, anything east indian, anything different, I guess to say anything ethnic. And at the same time anything that is exotically attracting. (But not naked..)

I have snooped around on the computer for inspiration but I just can't find exactlly what I am looking for.

Thank you! (And I will eat you forever!!)

4  QUILTING / Quilting: Completed Projects / W.I.P. quilt top on: June 05, 2009 10:53:07 PM
Hi!!! This is my first time posting something like this. So, please by all means let me know if I did something wrong!!

This is a quilt I am working on for my sister-in-law who is pregnant with a girl.

Everything is hand sewn on. Still going back and taking out the running stitch I put in to hold it all together and sewing a better stitch.
I can't remember where I found the outline for the bird, but it was somewhere on google image search.

Let me know what you think! (There will be more blankets to come!)  Grin

5  CLOTHING / Clothing: Discussion and Questions / Fleece throw blanket.. on: April 09, 2009 12:46:14 AM
Hi!

I have this orange throw blanket, not very wide as it is long. But I was wondering what could I make out of this for me??

Whatever it is I will be hand sewing it, and was thinking maybe along the lines of a short sleeved hoodie??

I am at a loss as to what to do with it, and needed your lovely ideas! (Which I am sure will be better off than mine!)  Grin
6  CROCHET / Crochetalongs / DORMANT: Crochet-along Shrugy (with pile of flesh link) on: January 09, 2009 12:41:47 AM
Hi! I am new at this and lets see if I can get this right!  Grin

I was looking up shrug patterns and came across the one I have linked...(Don't have any idea to post pictures yet)

http://web.archive.org/web/20101121130628/http://dianelangan.com/pinksh.html

But I am wondering if any one else would like to do this with me?

I've started it already with just scrap yarn to see how it turns out first, then I will use nicer yarn. (Red hart 4-ply)

Thanks!
7  CROCHET / Crochet: Discussion and Questions / Any patterns for hooded adult cardigan?? on: September 26, 2008 06:02:12 PM
Does any one know of any free patterns of a adult sized cardigan with a hood?  I have tried some I have found on crochetpatterncentral.com but they didn't work!!
But I am, I guess you could say intermediate crocheter. I prefer the cardigans crochet as a whole, instead of "front left, front right side" lol (I'm lazy)
 But thanks for anyhting!!!

HI! I am new at this and I am sorry if I posted this in the wrong spot!
My question I have is, I have a movie dvd case. And I was trying to think of ways to either turn the picture or using the case into a wallet type of clutch.
I would eat to hear your guys' ideas!!
Thank you for looking!  Grin
