I've never made a needlebook before, so this has been fun coming up with something unique....
just a couple finishing touches and I'll be sending... Probably Monday.

"Lions and Tigers and Bears, oh my" pillow.  my first attempt at making my own stencils and fabric painting.


some Wizard of Oz Character wall art.  I used old dictionary pages to print the images on... again, a first for me

My favorite... a Wizard of Oz, decoupaged birdhouse.  I used images from a vintage book....




I also sent a couple little extras that weren't crafted... a small pencil bag with a vintage lion plus a rainbow coaster.

I hope she liked it... I sure had a good time making these.

  just got home from a FANTASTIC week long visit with the grandbabies.... now to finish my project!! 

Haven't started yet, visiting family in Kansas, but have sketched out 3 options, now to pick one and get started when I get home.

Making a sewing kit for my daughter, who is moving out on her own soon.  This will be perfect!!

a couple of fun extras... a copy of the Wizard of Oz and a Rainbow colored Lollipop


adorable jewelry... an Emerald green "elixir" necklace and cute "ruby slippers" earrings.


and an AWESOME set of Wizard of Oz coasters... silhouettes of the main characters. these have already joined my Wizard of Oz coaster collection.

*plaidpinapple - what a cute garment bag, I bookmarked the link to make hangers, thanks.  Plus the hoodie and jeans are just too cool.  you did a great job.
*mom2em - I absolutely adore the MM ears and the little school set... the pet set is fun and am keeping the gymnastic set in mind for a birthday gift for my granddaughter.
*Dustyfro - I am in love with that flapper dress set.  the necklace and hat pulls it all together nicely... too cute.
*Sharalee- you know how I'm partial to your Cinderella set you sent me.... adorable.

just FYI, my daughter helped me with a couple things in my package.  She made the bucket for me as well as the little hats she sewed on Gus-gus and Jaq the mice.  I made the mop out of a thin dowel, some cotton twine and hot glue... easy.

can't wait for the next AG doll clothes swap.

here is the lovely Cinderella set that I (my Emily Rose) received from Sharalee....  made me truely giggle when I realized that we both crafted Cinderella sets for each other... without even knowing it.  CMTA "creative minds think alike"
