hubby and I went to see "Oz the great and powerful" last night... I loved seeing all the "ah-ha" moments.  I've got several Wizard of Oz based movies.
*the 1939 version, 1925 version, the Wiz, Tin Man, Tom & Jerry and the Wizard of Oz, Return to Oz, and the Muppets Wizard of Oz.
LOL... can't wait for the sign ups.

15  quick and easy Valentines on a budget for the Grandbabies in Valentine's Day by fluttermuffin on: February 11, 2013 05:50:56 PM
We moved 1,900 miles away from the grandbabies and I try to find unique little things to mail home to them.  We're on a budget and with four packages to mail home, I had to come up with something.

a big NANA hug, made with dollar tree craft foam and white ribbon

and a box of macaroni & cheese with a cute saying.

threw in a few suckers and a bottle of bubbles... I think they'll all like it.

18  just a small applique blanket in Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: General by fluttermuffin on: January 12, 2013 12:07:23 AM
My grandaughter turned a year old in December.... I picked up a fuzzy baby blanket at the dollar tree, some coordinating flannel on sale at JoAnn's and some fuzzy yarn... with a little time and a lot of lovin', I made her this little blanket with her first initial appliqued in the corner. (K is for Khloee)

19  Re: Poppet/Doll furniture along TO COMPLETE BY THE END OF 2012 in Craftalongs by fluttermuffin on: January 11, 2013 09:34:05 PM
I still love this thread.... I with a move and new job, I had quite a set back in making a cozy place for my girls to "live"... We moved from Kansas to Oregon/Idaho border with whatever we could fit in 2 cars (the rest is still in storage in Kansas until spring). My wonderful husband managed to fit my girls with a few of their favorite things in a small tub in the car. (there was NO WAY I was leaving them behind).   I still want a house for the girls, but don't know how long it'll be... *sigh*
here's Lillie taking in the beauty of Snively hot springs in Oregon.

Cheesy  I'm so happy to see this thread liven up again.  I'm guilty of slacking on my quest to create a warm cozy home for my girlies...  I so need some motivation... LOL

Sharalee, I love your vintage handmade barbie closet.... and all the little goodies inside.  I think it's neat that you've held onto it all this time... what lovely memories of your mom.

lovesclutter, I am anxious to see how your poppet house progresses, I can visualize your Alice room already.... sounds cute.

Bubblegum, I know how easy it is to displace our dollies and fill their spaces with our own stuff.... I'm sure Madison will be thrilled with that house you posted..... I know I would be... LOL

even though I've been lazy in my house making endeavor.... I did manage to take my girls out a couple weeks ago for a fun photoshoot!

With her pink hair and violet eyes, Maxine makes the perfect little yard pixie... doesn't she??

Nettie and Lillie were taking a walk in the back yard and were surprised to find a sweet little yard pixie surrounded by butterflies and her own pet unicorn.

Lillie is in complete shock... she doesn't even remember to snap a pic with her little camera....

our little yard pixie decided to visit the tulip garden

Nettie is adjusting her glasses to get a clearer peek at Maxine.... "wow, it IS a yard pixie"

I think Miss Lillie is a little jeaous of all the attention Maxine is getting... *sigh*
