11  Re: MYB Round 16 Gallery!!! in The Swap Gallery by mama24boyz on: April 22, 2013 09:01:18 PM
Hey!!!! Its my turn!!!  My partner jtlhmmwabodf totally spoiled me!!!!  First, I love how she doodled on the box.

OK, on to the goodies, I opened it to this

Heres my yarn all wound up.  The blue skein is actually 2 skeins.  I shoulda wrapped them individually, sorry.  One is cool colours and one is warm colours, all make up kinda a rainbow.  Now the rainbow one is beautiful.  Its handspun and handdyed!!!!!!!!!!  Thick and thin yarn, I love that!!  Have to find the perfect pattern for it.

Now the goodies, lots of candies, mmmmmm

The boys are going to love these hats.  Theres a goomba and a creeper hat.  At first I thought the creeper hat was a toque, but I LOVE this version!!!! I may just have to keep it!!!!  Roll Eyes

Heres some bought goodies.  The pencil smells yummy. I love the little start tea rest.

This ones special cuz she sent it just for my iguana loving mom!!!  I love it!! Its so pretty!!

Now all my handmade goodies, I got hair clippies, flowers, heart garland, handmade wooden buttons, Mario pins, friendship bracelets, a polished rock bracelet with kids birthstone colours and a knitted bracelet.  I may have forgotten something in my list.

I absolutely love everything!!!  Thank you so much!!!!!!

12  Re: What I Am Best At Swap Gallery in The Swap Gallery by mama24boyz on: April 18, 2013 05:44:03 PM
OK, my pics are uploaded. Seriously prepare to be jealous!!
First, everything was wrapped up so nicely. This is something I NEVER remember to do.  Each package was numbered with an explanation of what P_E_S_T is best at.  I'm not going to do them in order  Tongue

Because shes great at coming home from the charity shop and pouring love into unwanted things.

A close up of the scrabble names

And the cutest tin for my extra letters!

P_E_S_T got this idea from something similar on my pinterest with scrabble tiles.  I LOVE LOVE this!!!

Because shes best at being a mum. With love from her kids to mine.

Daysie loves these.  They are weighted with ribbons attached so you throw them and watch them fly!!!

Because shes great at snooping and not so great at throwing scraps away.

Now, P_E_S_T suggested I use them as tage, which would be cute, but I love them so much that I don't think I could share!!!  Cheesy So I think I may find a shadowbox or something for them, maybe a banner??

Because shes great at providing and chasing sheep

Some fibre for me to try needle felting!!!!  Needles too!!! YAY!!!!

And lastly, I could say this is my fave, but its so hard to pick.  But I absolutely adore this, its AMAZING!!!!
Because shes best at stabbing herself with very sharp needles......2nd shes great at being in love.

And a close up cuz its just beautiful, for those that don't know, its Link and Zelda, ya, I'm a geek  Grin  And I love it!!!!!!

Sorry for the pic overload, I couldn't help it  Wink  Thank you so very much P_E_S_T!!!!!!!

Well, when IsikkahJai said the last of the fellowship was on its way, she really meant the fellowship!!!!!  She totally surprised me!!!  First she sent a bulk pm asking what everyone wanted.  She had a list including mermaids, fairies, pirates, zombies.......elves .  I said a mermaid or fairy would be awesome, a pirate would be cool too and when I read elf I immediately thought Legolas!!  She said don't worry, I got an idea.  Soooooo.....I got my package yesterday and tore into it!  And guess what I got??  LEGOLAS!!!!!!!!!  I was so shocked!!!!  I LOVE him!!!!!

Isn't he perfect?  I love his hair!!  He has a bow too, but he seems to have misplaced it!!
Heres a closeup of his face

He is now going to hang out with sock monkey Captain Jack and sock monkey Sloth where little fingers can't reach!!!   Grin

14  Re: 13 Amis in 2013 in Crochetalongs by mama24boyz on: March 30, 2013 07:05:12 AM
Now, technically I have only made one ami of my own pattern, BUT I have made a few of others patterns that I thought I would share.  They don't count towards my final count though.
Pinkie Pie

Big MacIntosh

Shining Armour

Alice and White Rabbit, this one was my own pattern, but I didn't write anything down  Roll Eyes

I really like how they turned out.

I also made a creeper and I'm sure other amis that I just forgot to take pics of.  All of these were made for swaps.

Anyone else got some more pics to share??
