301  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Re: Brocade Tote Bag on: May 13, 2008 12:11:17 AM
the bag is pretty. i love the fabric. the size is nice too. just right for essentials. i have tons of remnants. i buy them every time i'm at Wal-Mart. and that's awesome what you're doing with it. more people should contribute to different causes. my husband's band is hosting a benefit concert for a local children's hospital at the end of the month, and i am making sock monkeys to raffle off for the cause. anyway, great job on the bag Smiley
302  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / Re: Makar Stuffie (and help please?) on: May 12, 2008 11:35:04 PM
i would also say that you could tack it in place with a few stitches in the same color thread as the leaf. that's probably the sturdiest way to get it on there. it's too cute, though. i totally agree with you about Windwaker. its one of the best games ever. i'm totally a nintendo girl.
303  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Re: My latest works on: May 12, 2008 11:23:54 PM
that cat with the little fish bones is too cute. i wish i was good a crochet. i knit pretty well, but i never could get the hang of crochet. everything you showed is cute Smiley
304  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / Re: Shrinky Math on: May 12, 2008 11:22:09 PM
those are so awesome! i have really been wanting to try and work with shrinky dinks. i have craft ADD. i jump from one medium to another. but, those are too cool. another awesome design to do something in shrinky dink jewelry would be some tattoo flash style stuff. i think that's what i'm going to try when i get around to ordering some shrink plastic (since we don't have any craft stores in the city i live in and i'm limited to what Wal-Mart sees fit to carry...)
305  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Vintage Craft Projects / Re: How To Make SOCK TOYS *IMG HEAVY on: May 11, 2008 11:49:05 PM
i've made a couple sock monkeys with some online tutorials. i like using the really cheap, cute printed socks from Wal-Mart. that sock hula girl looks like fun, though Smiley
