1  CLOTHING / Clothing: Discussion and Questions / Princess Sleeves....? HELP?! on: July 20, 2008 05:42:35 PM
Is there a tut or anything out there for making princess sleeves? I'm trying to finish my Lolita outfit, but with the cut sew shirt, I would like to put princess sleeves on it, but I don't know how.

Thanks ahead of time!
2  MORE ART, LESS CRAFT / More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works / First Painting.......For a friends birthday. on: July 07, 2008 08:08:45 PM
And because this was my first painting and it was kinda spur of the moment I didn't have white oil paint nor did I have black acrylic paint. But I had black oil paint and white acrylic, so I mixed them. Bad idea. I tried mixing them together for the grey at the bottom, but the black oil paint kept engulfing the white acrylic paint. So I finally just said the hell with it and I put a layer of black and then mixed on the canvas with the white. She loves Linkin Park so I decided to paint this for her. It is still a bit rough there are a few places I need to fix up.

Comment on how I did are greatly appreciated. I really enjoyed doing this so if anybody had any tips for me on ways I could practice and get better I would love you forever!

3  CLOTHING / Shoes: Completed Projects / My year old Payless shoes.... Now Look! on: July 04, 2008 07:03:24 PM
This is my first post about shoes. I was sick of these old school shoes. I loved them when they were white and clean but I don't like white shoes that turn black with dirt.

Here is before I attacked:

Close up of the pattern:

I started out and painted them all white:
(excuse Heroes in the background)

So I ended up with this:

Left foot:

Excuse the wig on the iron. I recently shaved my head and I"m trying to make wigs.

All these words are inside jokes.

MAGRETHEA!!! Yes from Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy.

Right Foot:

Excuse my foot and the mess behind it. I'm in the middle of one of my sewing binges.

The end of the Kamehameha attack on PetSmart!!

What do you guys think?
I attacked the left foot and my best friend attacked the right.

5  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / RADIOACTIVE!!! +1 Skirt on: June 30, 2008 09:47:04 PM
I don't post my projects very often, but I love this one so much that I'm going to post it.
Let me know what you guys think.

So I'm starting a new wardrobe for myself, I'm going with the cyber goth/candy striper look.
I've always wanted one of these masks but I don't have a credit card to buy one from an online store.
So I decided to make my own.

Excuse the wig. I've recently shaved my head and I'm trying to style a Hannah Montana wig and a Miley Cyrus wig.

I also made a skirt to go with my new look but I don't like how it turned out.

Excuse the Nsync. I was in a sewing mood today so there for I wore my crap clothes.

What does everybody think?

Okay so my friends adn I are going to Anime Central this weekend and I finally finished my friends armor. We cut out pieces from cardboard and then bent them to fit his body. After that we quack taped it. Then came the painting, my favorite part. This is what we ended up with.

I also painted the gloves and boots.

7  CLOTHING / Clothing: Discussion and Questions / So I have this rat and he likes..... on: May 14, 2008 12:02:42 PM
to chew my clothes to high hell. He got a hold my one of my favorite hoodies. He managed to create a huge hole in one of the armpits. I know I can recon it somehow, I'm sure of it. But I was wondering if anybody had any ideas how.

Thanks!

This is my first actual thread. I've been lurking around craftster for years.

But I have an anime convention this weekend and I made all of my costumes for it but I've only got pictures for one. Tell me what you guys think.

Sorry if any of them are blurry, my camera bites a big one.
