4  CLOTHING / Clothing: Discussion and Questions / Princess Sleeves....? HELP?! on: July 20, 2008 05:42:35 PM
Is there a tut or anything out there for making princess sleeves? I'm trying to finish my Lolita outfit, but with the cut sew shirt, I would like to put princess sleeves on it, but I don't know how.

Thanks ahead of time!
5  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Re: Im Thick. So I Wear Tiger Tights To Make It Odvious. on: July 17, 2008 03:04:07 PM
These are far from hideous. I am jealous of these. I'm not on the twig side of our generation either but that doesn't mean we shouldn't wear stuff like this. I wish I could find a fabric like this.

Great job!

7  MORE ART, LESS CRAFT / More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works / First Painting.......For a friends birthday. on: July 07, 2008 08:08:45 PM
And because this was my first painting and it was kinda spur of the moment I didn't have white oil paint nor did I have black acrylic paint. But I had black oil paint and white acrylic, so I mixed them. Bad idea. I tried mixing them together for the grey at the bottom, but the black oil paint kept engulfing the white acrylic paint. So I finally just said the hell with it and I put a layer of black and then mixed on the canvas with the white. She loves Linkin Park so I decided to paint this for her. It is still a bit rough there are a few places I need to fix up.

Comment on how I did are greatly appreciated. I really enjoyed doing this so if anybody had any tips for me on ways I could practice and get better I would love you forever!

8  CLOTHING / Shoes: Completed Projects / Re: My year old Payless shoes.... Now Look! on: July 07, 2008 03:40:32 PM
I have those same shoes... well, the before ones, anyway. Last summer I came home with my boyfriend (who was, at that time, just a friend) and my male chihuahua got so excited that he piddled on my shoe and left a yellow stain... Then, last week we had a really bad thunderstorm that left a pond in my backyard (that's never happened before). My best friend and I went back there after the storm to check it out and I went too close to the water and my foot sank in a little (I was wearing those shoes). So, I came out with mud across the front of my shoes. I wiped them off as well as I could with water and a maple leaf, but you can still see the mud stain. Anyway, what I'm trying to say is that I agree with you, white shoes get dirty really easily. Also, with those shoes I always get comments like "Oh, my 7 year old daughter has those shoes!" and I'm 21. Yay, I wear kid shoes!

Anyway, I like that you were really creative with them and made them personal with inside jokes and stuff. They're cute!

Yeah I'm 19 and had them. Granted having Hannah Montanna on there isn't much better, but I love Hannah! My feet are so small to the point that I can wear kids shoes.

Oh, and you probably noticed this, but incase you didn't, you posted this twice.

I did notice my computer is stupid and it thinks that I clicked something twice but I didn't. So sorry for that.

And I shaved my head because I was sick of my hair. I let a friend dye it and cut it and I really really didn't like it. But all my friends didn't think I'd shave it so I made a nice little wager with them. I made money off of it.

I shaved my head.

I would say start with the longest setting do it all and see if you can do anything with it. If not, go a bit shorter. I just went full on army cut. It was shorter than short. But it's grown out a little bit.
