1  HOME SWEET HOME / Interior Decorating: Discussion and Questions / Re: Huge project. Craft/workout/music room on: January 20, 2009 05:53:53 PM
I'm in the same situation. I have a craft room but it keeps getting junked up because we don't have much storage space in the apartment. So I'm trying to come up with a way to make it half storage, half craft while still being neat and tidy. But I'm having trouble figuring it out. So this reply wasn't helpful at all. Sorry! Hopefully someone will show up and point us in the right direction.

I knit and I've joined the local stitch n bitch group but haven't actually been to a meetup because of the timing. Plus I'm shy.  Tongue

What kinds of crafts do you guys do? I'm a dabbler - I dabble in everything from polymer clay to paper. I'm not in Midtown, but I have glue, will travel.  Smiley

That's awesome! When I saw the thumbnail on the front page I thought it was a real dog! How big is the toy?

ETA: I just checked out your site. Amazing stuff!
4  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Re: spiral knee socks on: September 09, 2008 06:46:42 PM
Wow, I love these so much. I only wear knee socks if I can help it and I'm still a beginner knitter, but am pretty determined to knit myself a pair of knee socks for this winter. Think I found my pattern!

"[Boyfriend], would you like to see a picture of a chicken wearing a birthday hat?" is not a question I thought I'd be asking today.  Cheesy

Whenever I'm sad, I will come look at this picture and will have to smile.

This is brilliant! Thanks for posting a tutorial. I'm not sure if I have the patience to make one, but I'm gonna give it a shot anyway. Great use for all the magazines we get that just end up getting thrown out.
