Is it just me in North Wales then? 

So I have painted my shoes. They started all white and now they are dark purple with a large pink heart on the side. I used acrylic paints. Do I have to polish them with clear polish or just leave them? I am worried they will crack the first time I wear them.

Does anyone know where I can get a free knitting pattern for a ballet wrap cardigan? I have seen the one on Lion Brand's site but that is done in bulky yarn and I would prefer it to be finer than that. Tried a Google search but it isn't really  throwing much up.
