Ok thanks, I'll make the 14 as planned then. I'm going to make it as a top so it should be fine whatever, the fabric is a bit much for a dress. One day I'll learn to post pics so I can get my stuff on here instead of mostly lurking!

Ooh that's lovely! Is that the recent pattern? I am about to make the v neck version out of some lovely vintage flowery print. Does it come up quite big then?

I don't know if this is any help but I usually sub DK, I prefer the slightly lacier look it gives anyway and it usually works to the same size. I've never had any problems anyway. HTH.
