I did this with these same exact sheets for my son and I about 4 years ago. LOL. Love Them.

Your elephant shirt is totally badass!! I want it..really.  (=
If I had the guts to start something like that...it would take me forever to finish.
You did a really great job!
13  CLOTHING / Clothing for Kids: Discussion and Questions / Re: criss cross tutu on: September 21, 2009 12:01:13 PM
All i can do is guess but from the pics .. it looks like the strips for the criss cross are close to, if not the same width as they are for the rest of the tutu. I would make a practice criss cross thing just to mess around with it and see what you like. GL (=

16  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Re: spatz practice.. houndstooth and turquoise on: September 16, 2009 02:19:21 PM
Those are so cute! I love the turquoise ruffle on them.

I finished a waist cincher thingy earlier and thought about trying them out as spats before I laced the pieces together. I figured I would just try them later though. I love these!

Thanks(=
I was thinking...the fabric on the bottom is a stretch jersey and on top is a sheer...non stretch type. Maybe I should have been stretching the jersey fabric?

hmmm..the possibilities and I have no clue. ah well.
19  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / cincher belt thing. on: September 16, 2009 01:04:27 PM
Inspired by Carbonated. Here is hers: http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=260608.0

I really love it in the pinstripe!

Mine is made from some fabric I had laying around. It is scrap from a corset I'm working on. (my 1st).

I think my pieces are a little lengthy considering I'm only 5'2
Wow..It looks like I have no shape from the front..haha.

It is also tied too tight in these. It's kind of hard to do. I put a zipper up one of the sides to make it a little easier.
Let me know what ya think (=
