Very impressed you could 'whip those up'!  When I look at something and think 'hmmm, I could do that' it normally ends up with the legs sewn shut or something!

I like the contrast stitching too, especially if you did a coordinating applique?

Ignore my last post...  Just read the tute and saw that what I thought was shirring was actually elastic!  Even better!

Do you really like Ottobre designs?  I've seen so many lovely pics of people's Ottobre's creations and would like to try one out, but I'm terrible with patterns.  How do you find them?  You're obviously a great sewer based on this blouse and the deer dress but I'm still pretty new to sewing and a lot of patterns blow my mind!

I totally think you could get away with trousers in the same print.  They'd be gorgeous on their own too, with a white tee or babygrow.

How easy to follow are the Ottobre patterns?  I've done about a dozen of the usual suspects (mcCalls, Simplicity etc) and have been really frustrated with the directions and sizing, so I usually make it up as I go along (with heaps of errors!).  The Ottobre designs are so nice I'd be tempted to try patterns again...

I love bubble rompers!  Unfortunately, being in Scotland there's maybe 15 minutes a year when it's warm enough for one... 

I think it looks great, I really like the fabric too.
