1  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Discussion and Questions / Re: Anthropologie Cirrus Bedding on: July 19, 2011 02:40:56 PM
Here is a link to a tutorial that I just randomly found!

I, too, will be embarking on a knock-off anthropologie bed set within the next week. Not this one but the rosette bedding made out of the jersey material:

Good luck and post pics when you're done!
2  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / The Swap Gallery / Re: Childfree Swap Gallery! on: November 21, 2008 11:42:19 AM
Hi everyone! Casstasstrophie is simply amazing!  i picked up my stuff on Tuesday and I love everything that I got especially the hickey hider.  Pics will be posted sometime this weekend when I can borrow a camera from a friend.  Purse (w/ wallet & camera) was stolen on tuesday thankfully friends have my back. Life has gotten in the way and caused me to be a very bad swapper, but I enjoyed making everything and I hope that Casstasstrophie likes it.

Everyone's gifts look great btw!

4  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Weddings and Bridal Showers / Re: Vera Wang's wedding dress on: October 10, 2008 01:34:27 PM
That is absolutely breathtaking... you're super talented & I personally think yours looks better than the original!  The wedding looked like so much fun especially the photo booth such a good idea.  The website was cute too.  Thanks for sharing this with us!
5  Craft Swaps / ARCHIVE OF SWAPS THAT ARE TOTALLY FINISHED / Re: Childfree Swap - CLOSED - Send out 11/3 on: October 08, 2008 05:51:23 PM
I actually live in W. Philly! When I first moved here I definitely listened to those 2 songs for the first week!

Why am I just reading about the gay train rides!? I hope I didn't miss it... actually I can't have missed it b/c I have season 1st class tickets.  LOL.

Hmmm... I support Calluna's definition of queerness

Jungrrl- thanks so much I already think my partner is way awesome

To everyone who has stated that their craft ideas may be overly ambitious just remember... you won't be losing time b/c you have to take the kids to afterschool activities!  I have an idea that i'm not sure how to do just yet but i'll be looking online for some tutorials.  I cannot wait to begin crafting.  October 13th is a "holiday" and even though I don't agree with the celebration of colonization I will definitely be celebrating the fact that I have a whole day to craft!  Roll Eyes
7  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Re: My first coat! on: October 06, 2008 08:09:26 AM
I really like this coat.  The front piece is awesome b/c it reminds me of a band leader jacket.  Could you perhaps offer a tutorial? Pretty please!?!
8  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Completed Projects / Re: Rapunzel Scarf! on: October 06, 2008 08:08:16 AM
I love this! I'm going to make this a project w/ my rommate.  Probably also going to gift some as presents this holiday season.

*dusting self off from coming down off the fence*

YAY!! I just sent in my app (it's the one w/o a subject hehe).  I can't wait to be approved and find out who my partner is gonna be! Woo-hoo

@Calluna- Lady lovers unite! LOL, ummmmm... although i haven't experienced this myself just yet my partner just got out of a relationship w/ a woman exactly like that.  From what she tells me it wasn't a pretty sight and i'm so glad I didn't have to go through that.  We should swap stories lol.

Those inspiration galleries are awesome. I will have to take more time to look them over.
10  CROCHET / Crochet: Discussion and Questions / Re: Favorite Cardi from Crochet Today Mag Help on: October 03, 2008 12:49:48 PM
Thanks, I was ending on the double and it didn't seem right for some reason.  LOL, probably me just worrying about nothing.  I'll have to try that when I make it to the belt part.  I'm actually frogging what I have done thus far cause I was so freaked out about what stitch to end on it started inching in slowly so now it's slightly croked on one side.  I'm fixing it tonight.

Thanks again for the advice!
