1  Sonic and candy buttons Katy perry style in Halloween Costumes by rdhill2005 on: November 07, 2010 06:52:43 PM
So my daughter picked a slightly in apporate idea for a halloween costume Katy Perry as candy buttons

So first thing I did was buy packs of candy buttons for refrence then we ate 3 packs leaving one for her headband, added tulle to make it less skanky!

anyway it took about 3 weekends to make!

now some close up shots

so next my small mailman decided he wanted to be Sonic the Hedgehog so more Sewing!

C&C welcome thanks for looking!

2  D.J. Lance Rock in Halloween Costumes by rdhill2005 on: October 20, 2009 12:24:56 AM
So, My 2 year old is a lil' obsessed with Yo Gabba Gabba, so of course he he had to be DJ Lance rock. I made it with blizzard fleece Because its cold here in MI already. And so he can wear it as an outfit or P.J.s later It was fairly easy and the sleeves are the same length. I glued the ribbon and sewed it all by hand (broken Machine that really wasn't broken just needed oil..Smh) and the day I finished it he changed his mind and wanted to be "Kachow" (Lighting McQueen from the movie Cars) but here it is he wore it to trick or treat at the zoo.

Action shot!
The hat was a birthday gift. C&C welcome. Thanks for looking.
