1  help needed with a pattern in Clothing: Discussion and Questions by Crafty Quilter on: November 21, 2009 11:27:20 AM
Does anyone know of a pattern that would be close to this style of coat? I have been searching, but to no avail. Please let me know. My son wants one for the holidays. I thought that I could make it for a lot less than the store wants. I hope that someone out there has some options on a pattern!

Thank you in advance.

2  Need some advice on how to make this in Discussion and Questions by Crafty Quilter on: June 11, 2009 10:26:25 AM
Hello,

I am making this adorable skirt. I was wondering if anyone has suggestions on how to go about making the little flowers at the top. They will be made of chiffon. Do you have suggestions, tips, tricks, or places with instructions? Please let me know. They are so pretty and delicate.

Thank you in advance.

4  Help!! Can you help me with this fabric? in Sewing in General: Discussion and Questions by Crafty Quilter on: June 07, 2009 11:07:53 AM

Hello everyone!

Can you please tell me if there are any other fabrics that will give the look of this Dupioni silk for a lower price? I know that there are some fabrics out there that look like silk, but are not. Any help would be so appreciated.

7  Help with a pattern please in Clothing: Discussion and Questions by Crafty Quilter on: June 03, 2009 09:16:49 PM
I want to use this bodice for a project. How would you go about this without a pattern to start with? I like all the pleats or at least they look like pleats to me.  I have the skirt worked out, but I would like your ideas on the best way to make this bodice. This is going on a different type of skirt, It will not be a Maxi dress.

I would appreciate all of your tips and tricks. The fabric is a nice jersey.

Thank you in advance.

8  Help identifying a pattern please in Clothing: Discussion and Questions by Crafty Quilter on: May 29, 2009 03:16:44 PM
Hello,

Can anyone identify this pattern or style of dress? I would like to recreate this. I know that it is a 1950 or 1960's style dress.

As always, your wealth of knowledge is most appreciated! Kiss

Hello, can anyone tell me how to make this dress? Does anyone know where I can find a pattern for it? Perhaps you have one. I have been searching and I cannot find it. The ruffled back is beautiful and I want to make one.

Your help would be so appreciated.  Grin

10  My First Family Tree Photo Quilt in Quilting: Completed Projects by Crafty Quilter on: April 27, 2009 02:08:41 PM
Hello Everyone!

I recently completed my first attempt at a family tree quilt. The apples each hold a 4*6(ish) cut photo. The pattern was drawn on poster board and then I pieced it together to form the tree. I hope that you like it. I can see where it needs improvement, such as the top of the tree should be more rounded. I am considering adding some "fallen" apples to the bottom.

Each apple is open at the top to insert the apple. The leaves are two tone with yellows and greens. The tree top uses a beautiful green foliage fabric. The yellow background is a green/brown swirl.

Your opinions, help, and constructive advice is very welcome. The quilt is done partially pieced and the other is ragged. I happen to like the look of rag quilts.

This quilt is tabbed at the top, which is removable if wanted. Also, the quilt size is 56 by 72.

Thank you for taking the time to look! Grin
