It's sweet and it may amaze you at how grateful and even awed people are to get a gift that you made with your own two hands! Good for you and keep it up.

I like your thread choices as well - look's great! I find 6 strands too thick/heavy to do much detail. I'm doing a tea towel now with an Aunt Martha's; I used 3 strands for the mommy monkey instead of my usual two and I even found that a bit unwieldy. Try 2 or 3 strands; I bet you'll be hooked. Of course, the designs aren't as prominent with fewer strands but it works for me.

It really does pop - yay for pink and yay for decoupage!
I admit I was distracted by the gold chaise longue which seems perfect for little black dog lounging... Cheesy

Wow! Looks great and thanks for the comments on color thread. I machine quilt on my home machine and recently tried a variagated orange thread (what's up with all the orange references?!). It really only shows up close but I've decided that is one of the pleasures of a quilt. You can enjoy it on so many levels.

Blessings to you and all who suffer.
Your choices for the quilt are so aesthetically appropriate for the message - beautiful!

Thanks, AlwaysInspired! I'll look for that thread. I love this look and will add this to the ever-lengthening list of crafts I wanna try.
