These are lovely! Are they gifts, for sale, for you?
13  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Re: Lattice Crochet hat, and free pattern on: November 03, 2008 10:20:25 AM
I absolutely love it. Will give it a try as soon as I can. But I'm already saying yes to a scarf pattern. Crocheting hats is so gratifying and I can churn out the simple ones in little time but have been looking for something challenging but stylish. You're the best!
14  HOME SWEET HOME / Pet-Related Crafts: Completed Projects / Re: Fishy bed for Cat swap on: October 18, 2008 07:29:13 PM
I bought this pattern and tried making the house first - seemed a bit easier - and I gave up on it. I'm an experienced seamstress but sewing that foam is a major pain. Good for you for finishing the fish!

17  QUILTING / Quilting: Completed Projects / Re: Skull and Crossbones Tied Up quilt. on: October 14, 2008 05:44:09 PM
That is so cleverly creative - love it!
18  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Re: peacock feather on: October 12, 2008 09:45:49 PM
I agree, it's lovely. Your pattern? I don't think I could do as well as you but I'd give it a try!
19  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Re: castelo branco embroidery on: October 12, 2008 09:42:38 PM
Wow! Stunning work, lovely colors, and terrific execution. How wonderful that your aunt is passing on a family and cultural tradition, and how nice of you to share it with us! I'm also curious about the design - yours?
20  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / Re: There once was a little girl named Faith who wanted a bunny...*New Picture* on: October 12, 2008 09:17:55 PM
What a happy little girl with her adorable little bunny!
FYI: For years, I've used scrap paper to back my zigzagging on this kind of project. Learned the tip from my mom. I can just tear away the paper. Of course, you can also buy tear-away interfacing now but I'm too cheap!
