11  Jungle Animal Diaper Bag in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by violetta27 on: January 07, 2009 05:07:28 PM
My brother and sister-in-law are expecting their 2nd baby. So for my SIL's birthday I made her a new diaper bag.  It is constructed using a few different ideas I have found on this site.  Here are a couple of the inspirations:

The Kate Bag- http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=230856.0

Coach Knock Off- http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=263673.0

As you can tell I was impatient about taking pics of the bag before I ironed out the wrinkles.

Thanks for looking and comments and critiques welcome!

12  Purple, Soft, Fleecy Pointy Kitty in Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects by violetta27 on: December 21, 2008 06:41:32 PM
While browsing one day I came across this pattern found at http://weewonderfuls.typepad.com/wee_wonderfuls/downloads/Pointy-Kitty-Pattern.pdf.  Her body and head are fleece and her eyes and nose are felt.  Since I made this for my 16 month old niece, I went with felt eyes instead of buttons for safety reasons.  This is my 1st stuffed animal and amazed how well she came out.

13  A few more bags in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by violetta27 on: August 03, 2008 08:10:40 AM
I have been having lots of fun making purses.

This one reminds me of mint chocolate swirls which I used a tutorial from http://tinyhappy.typepad.com/tiny_happy/2006/06/shoulder_bag_tu.html.  The only thing I changed was leaving off the button/loop closure and added a magnetic snap inside.

This purse I made for my mother.  She likes a lot of compartments and pockets so inside is divided into 3 sections and added a cell phone pocket.

Thanks for looking.

14  Black and white pleatness bag in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by violetta27 on: July 13, 2008 06:02:18 PM
Next week is a friend's birthday and when I saw this bag (http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=178244.0)  I thought this would make a great present.  I can't wait to give it to her and see if she likes it.  Also, this is 1st post so I hope this works with the pictures.  Sorry for the fuzzy camera phone pics.
