I received my package from Balue a week ago, but now I'm back in Massachusetts and was able to open it!  Yey!

The entire contents--my toddler son is devouring the crackers--he keeps asking for more!  Grin

Thank you Balue--it's really great!!!  I hope you like your package!!!

Those are so cool!!!  I really love the mittens!  I received my package today, but I'm on vacation until Sunday.  My husband brought it inside, though, and is saving it for me for when I get home.  Ugh, stupid vacation!

It was actually kind of funny, in retrospect, though at the time all I wanted to do was finish the freaking thing.   Grin

I suppose there will be a time when I'll miss them, so I should enjoy them now, blah blah blah.   Cheesy

Oh. My. Gosh.  I envy you people with free time.  I really do.  I miss the days of college, and even my pre-baby work days.  Now I work full-time as a nanny, and bring my toddler son with me.  Needless to say, I do not have much free time now.  I managed to finish one of my crafts for Balue this morning with my son on my lap, trying to pull on one end of the item, and the little girl I watch trying to eat a button.  Fun times!   Undecided  Come to think of it, if anyone wants to babysit my kids while I get a bunch of things done, please, please (no, really, please) come over!   LOL  Grin

It actually amazes me that I'm able to get anything done, but I suppose if you're motivated you'll find a way, right?   Grin

I just ordered the most exciting thing yesterday, so no more crafting for Balue until it gets here.

I would be sick if I ate all the candy I've bought for my partner!   Grin  Definitely a good idea to send the coldpacks, but I agree that the idea of sending anything remotely watery sounds scary.  Even the idea of the condensation from the packs kind of scares me.  I suppose I'll just have to wrap it/them very well for the little trip across the ocean.

This weekend should be good for crafting, though--it's a three day one for me.  Gotta love Fireworks Day!   Cheesy

I'm here!  :O)

Anyway, that list is kind of funny.  I can't believe how many different types of candy there are!  I remember noticing all the differences in just packaging when we visited British Columbia (for our honeymoon, and again on a few other trips--I'm originally from WA state.)  Plus it seemed odd that a Mars Bar had peanuts and a Snickers bar had almonds, but here in the US it's the opposite.  Heh, I guess things are just marketed differently in different places!

Dawn Octopus--I saw Violet Crumble in the Stop and Shops (at least here in Arlington) there's a small British section due to the number of people from England.  And if you ever get a chance to visit a Cost Plus World Market (my favorite store, but stupidly they're not here in MA) they sell all kinds of things from different countries.  Which I love!  But now I want Jacquot French truffles.  Sigh.  I suppose I'll get them when I visit Seattle in August!  :O)  Pike's Place, here I come!  :O))))

I'm very excited!  Blue Kool-Aid, here I come!  Wink

And crafting--an excuse to go to the store!!!  yey!!!
