I made this caddy for my pens, stamps, crayons, paperclips, and all the other little things I like to have handy at my desk. I made a lazy susan using two vinyl LPs, a nut, washer, and bolt.
I softened the LPs in the oven and molded the top one to a pie plate. The bottom one I molded to a basic bowl. I attached them by putting a bolt through the top LP, a washer underneath, then the bottom LP, and a nut to fasten. 
I spray painted 5 tin cans of varying sizes, and then decoupaged them with some cute paper...

I'm happy with how it turned out :-)
