1  My first purse!! in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by berescga on: June 13, 2008 08:06:27 AM
After weeks of research here on Craftster, I finally took the plunge, cut up an old blazer & made this purse.

Inside:

The purse is made from an old wool blazer that I loved but was terribly out of style. The lining of the purse is the lining of the blazer.  It has a band of grosgrain ribbon around it that I have since added a grosgrain bow to.  The ribbon doesn't exactly line up at all four edges, but I'm pleased anyway.  The strap is repurposed from another purse.  The corners were a little tricky, but the fabric is thick enough to be very forgiving.

Thanks for looking!

Christine
