1  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Re: in desperate need of a 2nd [or 3rd or 18th or 284] opinion on: August 19, 2008 01:22:46 AM
Oh WOW! This is stunning! I adore the collar, I think the shape is amazing, but I agree that it needs a little something... beading sounds good! something shimmery or feathery.... but too sparkly! And I LOVE the colours of the skirt, especially the back bit, and I like the trains, but I agree about needing to blend the two colours of the skirt and the bodice at the front a little. And maybe make the skirt a little longer? Personally I think it would look wonderful with a full length skirt wth a bit of fullness... but that may be a crazy amount of work Cheesy And that's just me Smiley
Anyway, I'm just rambling on!  But in short, the work you've done so far, is INCREDIBLE!

That's a lovely swimsuit! Crazy though, it's exactly the sort I've been planning on making! I love that style but they're impossible to find in the shops. I have the fabric and elastic all ready! did you use a pattern or draft it yourself?

Well, I don't really know what to say, except that these are amazing. You have obviously been such a strong person to have coped with all those traumas, and I think it's great that you've found something which can help you through them. Well done, the hats are fantastic Smiley

that fabric actually works really well with the dress anyway! it's lovely, for an everyday dress, and I'm sure it'll make a lovely wedding dress too. nice work!
