I do letterboxing, so I like to carve stamps. Some get put in the letterboxes and some travel from letterbox to letterbox. Some of the less detailed ones are the size of a thumbnail. Here are the six I have done so far in 2013. The Mickey is my Signature Stamp that I log in to the logbooks in the letterboxes with and the "AlishaMisha 2013" is not for letterboxing, but I will explain that later. You will see the same Mickey in the next stamps. That is because mine got damaged, so this one is the recarve.

I am also a geocacher and have several signature items that I put into caches that people collect. One of the popular sig items that people have and collect are Wooden Nickels. Most geocachers purchase them and have standard pictures or text put on. Nothing wrong with that, but I like mine to be unique and, well, me...oh yeah, and cost effective. Thankfully my logo for geocaching is also that particular Mickey I use  for letterboxing, so I use my sig stamp and then I carved a new stamp, "AlishaMisha 2013" just for these nickels. I made about 26 of these this time around, because I ran out of wood blanks and I need to pick up another black ink pad.

All of the following are 2012 stamps. I am posting them here instead since this thread gets more traffic now...

Another 2012 project, Mini Crochet Thread Flower Pins.

And yet more 2012 projects...Another geocaching signature item I have are Mickey Marble Magnets that I sign on the back. So here is an example of a few of those (I made about 300), an example of some other marble magnets I made at the same time, and an example of the Lotion Bars I made for Xmas. The Lotion Bars are equal parts (by weight) of Beeswax, Coco Butter, and Sweet Almond Oil.

More pics of previously unpictured 2012 projects to come once I finish taking pics of the ones I am able to.

Thanks guys!

AlishaMisha - I love lip balm! And, I love that card you made! I am super impressed that you even remember the paper that you used five years ago! (I have trouble remembering the paper I used yesterday)
Hahaha well it helps that the paper was all in their wedding colors (blue and brown).

Anyways, here are the Etched Mustache Pint Glasses I made a couple of nights ago for my bro for Xmas. It was the last thing that needed to be finished for xmas (with the exception of gift tags which are done and will be posted later). It had to be last because getting Armour Etch involves a 1hour drive to ACMoore and a 50% coupon. It worked out well. I am glad I did my homework ahead of time about it instead of following the label. This is the only pic I could get that it would show the etchings well...

Here is a small update on what I currently have pics of anyways...

Peppermint Lip Balms for my brother and sister-in-law for xmas

And them wrapped up like candy...

A card for my sister-in-law's bday like one I have had pinned on pinterest. I made it out of 2 pieces of that thin cardboard that comes inside fat quarters. The paper is scraps from the album I made for their wedding 5 1/2 years ago. The rest is white embroidery floss. The "wicks" of the candles are embroidery floss soaked in mod podge and then dried on wax paper.

An update of some of the most recent items I have made...

Dog tag. My first shrinky dink project. It's not perfect, but I now see why people like them! I did the homemade version with #6 plastic.

Heart Crayons for my Niece. Hopefully given at Xmas. They didn't turn out exactly as I wanted, but I think it is because I raised the temp too high.

Jewelry Roll for my sister-in-law's birthday coming up. The zippers are grey, but I had to use the flash so you could see the various shades in the fabric.

Crocheted Market Bag also for my SIL but for Xmas. I liked how that pattern involved a flower on the bottom.

I will post pics of the other items at another time.

I haven't been real chatty for many months now, but I have been crafting in the background! Here is an update...

*I have been making logbooks for letterboxing lately, and I hope that they will be known as my signature (not the stamp that is). Here are 2 examples of the logbooks. They are paintchips, index cards, rubber bands and driftwood sticks. The sticks are special to me because I gathered them in NH at a favorite spot while on a trip with my family and my dog. That trip was special because less then a week later we learned we had to put our dog down. So crafting with these sticks makes me remember that wonderful last trip with Lexis. The image on the logbook on the right is a stamp I carved of the 2nd oldest one-room schoolhouse in Maine. It is the final stamp in a 4 stamp series at the location.

In geocaching there are items called Travel Bugs that travel around from cache to cache or geocacher to geocacher. They usually have a goal and are trackable. I made 3 last Sept to send off...

Shrimp Sashimi named "Moshi Moshi". Goal is to race "Ni Hao" to Asia (Goal completed for both of them, Moshi Moshi won but barely)

California Roll Maki named "Ni Hao"

I also made a fortune cookie named "O-mikuji". It's goal is that when it is placed a cache, or changes hands, that the placer writes a fortune on it's tracking page. That fortune is then for the next person. When they place it then they write a fortune....and so on...

Pics that may be coming later...or not.
*I have carved many stamps for letterboxing lately. Pics will have to come later as most of them are out in the world now and I only have the relief images.
*I crocheted a dishcloth for my grandmother as she requested.
*Lipbalms are continuously being made when needed. My last batch was for part of a hostess gift and gift swap at a party. I made both Bubble Gum and Cherry Berry for that time around.
*So far I have made 2 felt cinnamon rolls and bowtie pasta for my niece (which I have yet to give to her).
*Crocheted 3 tiny flower pins out of crochet thread
*Cross-stitched the geocaching.com logo to turn into a pin or patch
*Over 300 Marble Magnets. Some for no reason but 90% of them are Mickey Mouse ones as my geocaching signature items
*Wooden Nickels for geocaching made with wooden blanks and my letterboxing signature stamp.
*Unscented Lotion Bars for Xmas. I used a martha stewart party mold I had found at TJMaxx on clearance for 70 cents!

Currently I am working on Xmas and Bday gifts before I move onto any other projects

I have received an awesome angel package from quilted!

The Origami Kimono Kit I wanted, a pack of 100 colors of origami paper, and origami paper case! I can not wait to work on them, and I can not wait for when I go back to Maine to my washi paper I have saved for making these kimonos.

Thanks again quilted!

I finished 2 knit sheep today. I got hired by my sister in law to make stuffies of my choice (themed to lambs, bunnies or elephants) for her cousin's shower. She is putting them on the diaper cake. The pattern is from lion brand. Word of warning, the loop stitch takes forever.  Angry

*I should note that the loop stitch is a new technique for me.

I also sent bananaleg some Cherry Berry and Bubble Gum Lip Balms for her and her nieces in a personal swap. They came from the batch that I made for klg_jlg. I luckily purposely made extras in case anyone wanted them in the OWS, so it worked out perfect. I am not counting this as a project though since I already counted that batch, but my labels change, so I figured I would share the pretties.

So that brings me to 11 projects so far. I am happy with my pace. A lot better than last year.

Thanks guys. I'm just feeling bad for the families that are going through tough times and I am glad to be there to keep their mind off things. I got home tonight but may be back at the hotel again tomorrow.

Anyways, I came home to Averia's package! She bought me the Amigurumi Knits book and a subscription to Your Knitting Life! (formally Knitting Today!). The piece of paper represents the subscription  Cheesy

So excited to knit more fruits and veggies! And I am also very excited to be having a surprise in my mailbox every 2 months. I haven't owned a subscription since I was younger and it was to Nickelodeon (rip), so I am even more excited than normal  Cheesy

Thank you again Averia!
