I just finished reading (again) Alice in Wonderland.  Its one of my favorite classic books.  I think that you did a wonderful job on these. 

I gotta say , I LOVE these.  They are just so clever and well done.  Congradulations , I think that they are a hit.

My sewing machine does the same thing when the bobbin isnt properly wound or maybe not loaded.  Seems the threads get tangled and makes a HUGE mess.  You might try reloading the bobbin and be careful of the way that you put it in.  Also make sure that the thread coming from the bobbin is not twisted or coming off it in a weird way.  Good luck and hope this helps.

I would suggest either the top or the bottom pattern.  With your figure (similar to mine) I would say that you would look great in a v necked pattern.  I know what you mean about family drama, just make sure whatever pattern you pick is one that you will love so that you can have a good memory from the wedding no matter what!

I think that those are great! I love the idea of getting a love letter in the mail.  Not enough people do that anymore.

This is wonderful and makes me long for all the things that I know my mom cleaned out of my room.  What a great way to keep all those little treasures.

So clever and I love the coloring!

I decided to take an old plan t-shirt that's been hanging in my closet and makes it something new and funky.  I found the design for the skull and cross bones on the internet and decided to do it in applique on the shirt.  Then for the dark outlines I stitched using black thread all along the outside.  Its not complete needle work but I think that it turned out great just the same.  Next time I think that I will do it all with thread.
