what did you place over them when you ironed them. Mine always stick and come apart. It's always a mess...btu I guess I probabyl should use the special perler paper...did you use that???

Yeah, I used the proper paper. You get like 6 sheets in a pack and it seems to last forever... I always wonder if you could use baking paper instead but I'm too scared to try it! What have you been using?

That's a really lovely shirt! Very pretty!
I love the idea of painting flowers across the bust too!

Thank you to everyone for the comments!  Grin

As for the peg boards, they sell large connectable square boards that are 29x29 beads big and clip onto each other. I get mine on Ebay for 1 each. Rainbow Brite took 15 of them, but even if you only have a few you can always make the seperate parts and iron them together afterwards!

I loved Rainbow Brite when I was little, and I was in the supermarket the other day and I came across the whole series on DVD, so I've been watching it loads and have rediscovered my love for it all over again, even though I'm 23 now! And I'm desperately wishing that my mom hadn't thrown out all the Rainbow Brite stuff I had when I was younger!
So I got out my hama beads and made this -

Bigger version here: http://i84.photobucket.com/albums/k33/chicklitwritergirl/craftster/021-1.jpg

She's 25 inches tall, and is going up on the wall next to my Betty Boop (http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=248568.msg2755581) and Totoro (http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=247989.msg2748383).
I seem to be starting a collection of giant hama bead characters... Now I just have to decide what to make next!

Sorry to hear about all the problems, but hopefully this is a good step on the way to sorting things out  Smiley I love the shirt! I hope you'll post other things you make too! Good luck!

Bob is so adorable!
And what a great idea to make a carrier! When my chihuahua was a puppy, I used to carry him around in my handbag, having something like that would have been so much better!
