I'm not sure where I can get it around here and I'd prefer not to spend money right now because I'm trying to save some. I'm wondering if I stitch two fabrics together it'd work as fabric interfaced. I also have padding but it'd make a very bulk wallet so it kinda sucks.

Well I've got some special items that I really want to frame, but since they're: one pair old shoes with dirt, t-shirt and jeans full of stains and some hair, they're not exactly pretty. They mean a lot so I really wanted to ask for some ideas to show them and still make it pretty.

First let me just say I don't know how to use my sewing machine but I'm planning on doing this and I've been thinking about it, so I just wanted to have some opinions. Let's assume I'm going to make a storage box. I've seen people using heavy stabilizer to make it sturdy but I honestly don't know how to call it in portuguese and I'd prefer another alternative. Cardboard would be good but I want it to be washable in case it starts to get all dusty and dirty so I guess the cardboard will not be a good choice but what about foam board? I think it's what is called. It feels like a sturdy fine sponge. Anyone has any kind of experience with this? What do you think of the idea?

Since my lips are really cracked I asked my dad to buy me some lip balm, it was too expensive, I said him it'd be best to return it, I'd rather have my lips cracked than pay 6€ for a lip balm. xD Then I asked him to buy me some beeswax. I finished this in the beginning of November, I even posted in my blog but completely forgot to post here on Craftster. it's nothing special but I liked it. When I saw this chart I knew I had to do it! I missed doing cross stitch so started right away! There isn't special use for this but I'm starting to get an idea

So today I learned magic loop, seems aweeesome *-* I've many circular needles (from my mother) but I only have one set of dpns (and with only 4 needles) but my question is, when you search for a pattern where they ask for dpns how can you do it by magic loop? If it only requires 2 or 3 it works anyway?

So I live in Portugal..I see people using certain yarn and recommending it for a certain pattern, but how can I know that I'm buying the right yarn? I don't understand nothing of yarn, at least all the types that there is out there, I usually use artificial, not 100% wool, it's too expensive.
How to make this possible? I just feel too newbie! I want to start making sweaters and everything but I don't even know what exactly gauge means, at least in knitting, why is it important? If you could help me with that too! Sorry asking so much =/

Hey there! I've been watching Craftster for a while now, I really want to use my machine but it isn't picking the thread. I'm not really sure what's wrong...my mother doesn't use the machine too much neither so I was wondering, sewing specialists if you could give me an advice why this is happening...I think everything is in place..I even replaced the needle for a new one...
